Irmasari Hafidz, Skom MSc, Lead Curator TEDx ITS menjelaskan, kegiatan ini diselenggarakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan motivasi bagi seluruh peserta. Utamanya mahasiswa yang hadir dalam acara tersebut. &quot;Ini kali ketiga ITS menggelar acara yang serupa,&quot; ujar wanita yang kerap disapa Irma tersebut.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>ITS memang sudah mengawali gelaran TEDx ini sejak tahun 2012. Dimana saat itu tema &nbsp;A Passionated Way menjadi pilihan kala itu. Sedangkan di tahun 2013, TEDx ITS mengusung tema An EscalaTED Life Namun kali ini, tema yang berbeda justru diusung oleh panitia TEDx ITS 2014. Tema A BlasTED Ideas dirasa cocok untuk membangkitkan semangat anak-anak muda untuk mau berkarya<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&quot;Sebenarnya tidak ada tema khusus, tema bisa saja beragam sesuai dengan pembicara. Namun visi kita sama,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d terang dosen jurusan Sistem Informasi tersebut. Dikatakan Irma, BlasTED yang berarti meledak menjadi salah satu daya tarik mengapa TEDx kali ini lebih menarik. Dengan adanya TEDx, harapannya semua orang yang hadir bisa tergugah untuk meraih prestasinya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sebanyak 10 pembicara telah didatangkan baik dalam ITS maupun luar ITS yang sangat menginspirasi. Januarti Jaya Ekaputri misalnya. Ia merupakan dosen jurusan Teknik Sipil ITS yang sukses menghasilkan karya dari lumpur Lapindo di Sidoarjo. Puluhan riset dan paten telah ia dapat melalui kajian lumpur yang dianggap sampah oleh sebagian besar orang.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lain halnya dengan Eko Prawoto. Pria yang juga sebagai arsitek ini telah memanfaatkan bambu yang tersedia di alam untuk membantu korban gempa di Yogyakarta kala itu. Pun dengan M Yasya Bahrul Ulmu, mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro ITS yang sukses beberapa kali menjuarai ajang International Mathematics Competition.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tujuh pembicara lainnyan yang akan melengkapi TEDx ITS kali ini antara lain Ahmad Rizal Mustaqim, Deden Fathurrachman, Mahendra Ega Higuitta, dan Venta Agustri. Selanjutnya adalah Dhany Arifianto, Anto Satriyo Nugroho, Andi Yudha Asfandiyar. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Semua pembicara itu telah memiliki ledakan maupun gebrakan yang mampu menginspirasi semua orang,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d imbuh Irma.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ia pun berharap agar acara ini benar-benar bisa dimanfaatkan dengan baik oleh seluruh sivitas akademika ITS. Selain itu ia juga berharap agar TEDx di ITS juga bisa terselenggara setiap tahunnya. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dengan begitu akan banyak orang yang tergugah.
