Untuk mendapatkan gelar jawara, Al Khawarishi harus bersaing dengan sangat ketat dengan Aqua Team. Bagaimana tidak, jarak waktu keduanya hanya seper sekian detik saja. Aqua Team dari MAN Surabaya harus puas di posisi kedua sedangkan Poseidon dari  SMAN 1 Bangil berada di tempat ketiga. <\/p>\n

Terdapat sepuluh tim siswa SMA dan sederajat dari seluruh Jawa Timur pada babak final. Setiap robot bawah air yang berlaga ditantang untuk menarik balon hingga ke garis finish<\/em> menggunakan magnet. Kekuatan dan kecepatan robot menjadi parameter penilaian kompetisi.<\/div>\n

Meski demikian, tak semua robot dapat bertanding dengan mulus. Tim Euro1 dari SMKN 2 Surabaya, misalnya. Mereka sempat mengalami insiden saat mencoba menarik balon ke garis finish<\/em>. Dalam insiden tersebut, baling-baling robot tim Euro1 ini sempat lepas karena melawan tekanan air. Beruntung, tim tersbut mampu memperbaiki dan melanjutkan kompetisi hingga selesai.<\/div>\n

URC merupakan bagian dari Ocean Engineering Exhibition and Competition (OCEANO). Gelaran ini merupakan acara paling besar Jurusan Teknik Kelautan ITS. Faiz Farhansyah Arsyad, ketua panitia OCEANO mengungkapkan acara ini hadir karena kecintaan kaum muda kepada kemaritiman akhir-akhir ini menurun. <\/div>\n

Padahal, maritim pernah menjadi simbol kejayaan bagi bangsa Indonesia. Maka dari itu, digelar acara OCEANO yang fokus di dunia perairan dan kemaritiman. ”Tujuannya, agar kepedulian terhadap kemaritiman bisa tumbuh sejak dini," pungkas Faiz. (gol\/ran)<\/div>\n
