{"id":19510,"date":"2014-10-31T15:33:38","date_gmt":"2014-10-31T15:33:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2014\/10\/31\/gugur-gunung-7-1-bebas-kendaraan-bermotor\/"},"modified":"2014-10-31T15:33:38","modified_gmt":"2014-10-31T15:33:38","slug":"gugur-gunung-7-1-bebas-kendaraan-bermotor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/gugur-gunung-7-1-bebas-kendaraan-bermotor\/","title":{"rendered":"GUGUR GUNUNG 7.1, BEBAS KENDARAAN BERMOTOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Drs Hadi Siswanto, Kepala Bagian Hubungan Masyarakat ITS, menuturkan bahwa tujuan dilaksanakannya <em>car free day<\/em> ini adalah untuk menjaga keamanan kegiatan gugur gunung. &nbsp;&quot;Dengan minimnya kendaraan yang lewat, maka peserta gugur gunung akan merasa aman dalam bekerja,&quot; jelasnya.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><em>Car free day<\/em> ini akan dilaksanakan selama empat jam, dimulai pada pukul tujuh pagi. Sementara itu, rute yang akan digunakan untuk kegiatan ini adalah sepanjang jalan di ITS. Dimulai dari bundaran ITS hingga pertigaan Jurusan Biologi. &quot;Rute ini sengaja dipilih karena di tempat inilah yang sering dilewati masyarakat,&quot; ujar Hadi.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Gugur Gunung 7.1 ini juga diwarnai dengan kegiatan pembersihan selokan di sepanjang rute tersebut. &quot;Meski sudah ada petugas kebersihan, tapi mereka hanya membersihkan bagian atas saja. Bahkan ketebalan daun gugur yang menumpuk di selokan sudah mencapai 25 sentimeter,&quot; paparnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Hadi menjelaskan, terdapat 150 mahasiswa yang ingin berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Beberapa diantaranya berasal dari Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Pecinta Lingkungan Hidup (PLH) Siklus. &quot;Selebihnya, adalah pengurus Himpunan Mahasiswa Jurusan,&quot; ungkapnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Menurutnya, kegiatan ini sengaja dibentuk untuk menjadi awalan kegiatan peduli lingkungan di ITS. &quot;Dengan dibarengi <em>car free day<\/em>, masyarakat akan lebih tahu jika di ITS sudah melaksanakan kegiatan peduli lingkungan,&quot; ujar Hadi.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ia berharap, kegiatan Gugur Gunung 7.1 ini bisa menjadi stimulus untuk seluruh <em>stakeholder<\/em> ITS agar bisa peduli lingkungan. &quot;Saya juga ingin kegiatan ini nantinya bisa menjadi rutinitas. Dengan begitu, akan membiasakan keluarga ITS untuk terus peduli dengan lingkungannya,&quot; pungkas Hadi.
