Peter sendiri pernah mendapat merasakan belajar di Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Sedangkan Shelvy berkesempatan belajar di Jepang selama sepuluh hari lewat JENESYS 2.2.<\/p>\n<p>Khara Karisia, panitia penyelenggara menyebutkan bahwa FS2 telah diselenggarakan sejak tahun 2012 lalu. &#8221;Sehingga ini sudah kali keenam,&#8221; lanjutnya. Ia manambahkan FS2 ini bertujuan untuk membangkitkan semangat dan keinginan para mahasiswa ITS untuk mengikuti pertukaran pelajar ke luar negeri.<\/p>\n<p>Bedanya, kata Khara, FS2 pada tahun ini akan dilaksanakan selama dua sesi dua sesi. &quot;Sesi pertama di bulan September diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa baru. Sedangkan sesi lainnya direncanakan digelar pada Oktober atau November mendatang,&quot; ujar Khara.<\/p>\n<p>Terdapat berbagai program pertukaran pelajar yang dapat dicoba oleh mahasiswa ITS. Umumnya, terbagi menjadi program gratis dan berbayar. &quot;Yang terdekat adalah <em>NSK Intership Program <\/em>di Jepang dan <em>Erasmus Mundus Interweave<\/em>,&quot; ujar Khara.<\/p>\n<p><em>NSK Intership Program<\/em> akan berlangsung selama delapan minggu dengan beasiswa sebesar 2000 yen. Sedangkan untuk <em>Erasmus Mundus Interweave <\/em>berlangsung selama satu semester dengan biaya hidup dan segala kebutuhan ditanggung pemerintah Eropa. Lewat program ini, ITS sudah mengirimkan tujuh mahasiswa pada periode Mei 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Tak hanya kedua program, Khara mengungkapkan terdapat banyak sekali program pertukaran pelajar. &quot;Contohnya saja di Teknik Industri. Tiap tahun selalu ada pertukaran pelajar ke UTEM Malaysia, Dankook University di Korea, dan Feng Chia University di Taiwan,&quot; ungkap Khara.
