Pada Dies Natalis ITS ke-54 ini, terdapat pemilihan kontingen mahasiswa terbaik dengan beberapa kriteria. Tujuan pemilihan kontingen mahasiswa terbaik ini adalah untuk memotivasi mahasiswa baru dari masing-masing fakultas untuk menampilkan  kreasi dan inovasinya.<\/p>\n

Kriteria penilaian meliputi ketepatan waktu memasuki taman alumni, kerapian barisan, inovasi seperti atribut, gerakan, peragaan, yel yel, dan sikap. Sementara itu, penilaian dilakukan di tiga titik yaitu, Taman Alumni, perjalanan ke Stadion ITS, dan di Stadion.<\/p>\n

Salah satu peserta, Adhitya Pardana, merasa senang dengan Defile pembukaan Dies Natalis ITS ke-54 ini. Menurut Adhit, kebersamaan dalam lingkup fakultas lebih terasa. Terlebih, dengan acara ini, mahasiswa dapat bekumpul bersama.<\/p>\n

Tak ketinggalan, adu yel-yel  dan atribut  fakultas tetap dilakukan. Kendati demikian, menurut Adhit, arogansi yang terjadi masih dalam konteks positif seperti keunikan atribut dan kekompakan peserta.<\/p>\n

Adhit berharap dengan tema Dies Natalis ITS kali ini, Semangat Kemandirian<\/em>, mahasiswa ITS bisa mengupayakan hal terbaik tanpa bantuan intervensi orang lain. ”Sivitas akademika ITS bertekad untuk mandiri dan terbang mencapai prestasi lebih tinggi,” pungkasnya.<\/p>\n

Upacara pembukaan rangkaian acara Dies Natalis ITS ke-54 dilakukan pada hari Kamis, 4 September 2014, yang akan diikuti oleh acara kegiatan sosial, turnamen olah raga, Seminar Nasional Sistem Informasi Indonesia (SESINDO), International Conference on Information and Communication Technology and Systems<\/em> (ICTS), program sertifikasi profesional, jalan sehat, sidang terbuka, dan ditutup tanggal 30 November 2014 dengan temu alumni dan malam kesenian. (van\/ady)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
