Pada sistem gugur tersebut semua peserta dibagi menjadi beberapa grup. &quot;Setiap grup terdiri dari tiga kontingen negara yang keesokan harinya akan dipilih negara terbaik. Dari ketiga negara tersebut tim dari negara terbaik yang terpilih akan maju ke babak selanjutnya,&quot; terangnya.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Menurut Irfan, ketika <em>running test<\/em> dilaksanakan, robot RINE masih mampu bekerja dengan stabil pada 50 detik pertama. Meski begitu, ada sedikit masalah dengan ban robot. Berapa panitia bahkan sempat mengira ban RINE bisa merusak lapangan karena ketika meninggalkan bekas di lapangan ketika berjalan. Untungnya, hal ini bisa diatasi oleh dosen pembimbing yang mencoba memberi penjelasan kepada para&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>panitia.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dengan kestabilan robot RINE yang cukup bagus, tim mendapat keberuntungan kedua. &quot;Dalam <em>running test<\/em> ini, kami menjadi satu grup dengan negara Srilanka dan Nepal. Ini merupakan suatu keberuntungan karena kita tidak lagi bertemu tim-tim yang kuat seperti tahun lalu,&quot; ungkap mahasiswa angkatan 2012 ini.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Usai melakukan <em>running test<\/em>, tim pun melanjutkan persiapan untuk bertanding keesokan harinya. Irfan berharap, robot RINE bisa memiliki peluang untuk juara dalam Abu Robocon 2014 ini. &quot;Untuk tahun ini, Indonesia masuk tim unggulan 6 besar. Jadi kita memiliki peluang yang besar untuk menjuarai Abu Robocon 2014 ini,&quot; ujar Irfan.
