Sedangkan yang berhak melakukan <em>voting <\/em>adalah perwakilan setiap Negara, masyarakat sekitar, dan panitia penyelenggara kompetisi ini.<\/p>\n<p>Selain <em>Spirit of Atlantic Challenge<\/em>, terdapat enam kategori lain yang dilombakan, antara lain <em>Atlantic Challenge Trophy, John Kerr Trophy, Spirit of the Atlantic Challenge Trophy, L\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Esprit, Lance Lee Trophy, <\/em>dan <em>Jakobstad<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai satu-satunya perwakilan dari Asia Pasifik, Ahmad bersama tim awalnya menargetkan <em>Atlantic Challenge Trophy<\/em>, yakni juara umum ACI. &#8221;Tapi kami bersyukur mendapatkan satu penghargaan tersebut dan mempertahankan gelar yang diperoleh pada tahun 2012 lalu,&quot; ujar Ahmad.<\/p>\n<p>Kapal yang digunakan dalam perlombaan bernama Baitasena, Kapal tersebut diluncurkan Januari lalu di Markas Komando Armada Republik Indonesia Kawasan Timur (Koarmatim), Surabaya. Secara fisik, Baitasena memiliki dimensi panjang 11,76 meter dengan lebar 2,1 meter, serta tinggi 0,7 meter. Sedangkan, kapal yang digunakan MCI untuk kompetisi tahun 2012, kini digunakan oleh perwakilan Lithuania yang juga mendapatkan penghargaan kategori <em>Spirit of Atlantic Challenge.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sebelumnya, persiapan yang dilakukan oleh tim MCI adalah latihan fisik dan mental terus-menerus selama berada di Perancis sejak 9 Juli lalu. Latihan fisik yang diterapkan antara lain <em>jogging<\/em>, <em>push up<\/em>, <em>sit up<\/em>, <em>squat jump<\/em>. &quot;Latihannya pagi dan sore setiap hari sekitar satu hingga dua jam,&quot; ujar Ahmad. Meski dalam kondisi puasa yang lebih panjang, nyatanya tak menyurutkan semangat tim MCI dalam mempersiapkan fisik dan mental untuk meraih juara.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak ada kendala berarti dalam mempersiapkan fisik selama di Perancis. &quot;Suhu, air, arus, relatif sama dengan Surabaya. Suhu paling tinggi 23 derajat, sedangkan paling rendah adalah 13 derajat,&quot; ungkap Ahmad. Hanya saja, dengan kondisi suhu tersebutAhmad mengaku tim sempat mengalami iritasi kulit ketika cuaca terik.
