Mulai dari solo gitar, ITS Jazz Surabaya, Tari Saman dari Tim Samanizer Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Lingkungan (HMTL), hingga Etnikkustik ITS yang menampilkan &nbsp;perpaduan musik gamelan dan akustik.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Berkat penampilan mahasiswa ITS tersebut, penonton pun dibuat berdecak kagum. &#8221;Setahu saya ITS itu pintar teknologi, tidak menyangka mahasiswanya juga pintar menari,&#8221; ucap Arum Sumiyati salah satu orang tua peserta.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Di tengah kemeriahan acara bertajuk <em>Mathematic of Art, Science and Technology<\/em> ini, Dr Erna Apriliani M Si, Ketua Jurusan Matematika ITS pun turut mengucapkan selamat kepada seluruh finalis yang sudah berhasil sampai di tahap tersebut. Erna mengaku merasa sangat senang dengan peningkatan peserta di tahun ini.&#8221;Jika peserta sudah bertambah, tandanya yang senang matematika juga bertambah&#8221;, candanya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tak ketinggalan, Prof Dr Ing Ir Herman Sasongko, Wakil Rektor I ITS turut hadir untuk menutup serangkaian acara OMITS 2014. Dalam sambutannya, Herman menuturkan bahwa ITS sudah siap <em>go international<\/em>. Pasalnya, sudah banyak prestasi yang ditorehkan oleh ITS di kancah Internasional. Selain itu, Herman pun turut menyampaikan makna dari ilmu matematika. &#8221;Jika aliran musik <em>blues<\/em> adalah akar dari segala musik, matematika adalah akar dari segala ilmu,&#8221; imbuhnya.
