Dalam kunjungannya ke ITS, para delegasi Unpaz diterima oleh Wakil Rektor IV, Prof Dr Drs Darminto MSc.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lucas menyampaikan, Unpaz memang berniat menjalin kerjasama dengan ITS. Kerjasama yang direncanakan dalam berbagai hal pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan. Mulai dari keilmuan teknik hingga pascasarjana. &#8221;Kami memilih ITS karena merupakan salah satu kampus teknik terbaik di Indonesia,&#8221; ungkap Lucas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lucas melanjutkan, selain pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, kerjasama yang diinginkan ialah <em>joint research,<\/em><em><em> joint degree <\/em><\/em>dan<em><em> academic research<\/em> <\/em>antara ITS dan Unpaz. Untuk kerjasama riset, difokuskan pada pengembangan teknologi tepat guna. &#8221;Kami ingin ITS memfasilitasi kami. Terutama izin bagi para staf pengajar Unpaz untuk melakukan riset di sini,&#8221; ujar Lucas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lucas juga berkeinginan agar dosen-dosen Unpaz dapat melanjutkan pendidikan di ITS. Lebih dari itu, diharapkan dosen-dosen ITS bersedia untuk membagi ilmu di Unpaz. &quot;Mungkin saja ITS dan Unpaz dapat melakukan pertukaran mahasiswa,&quot; tuturnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Di sisi lain, Prof Dr Drs Darminto Msc menyambut tawaran dari Unpaz dengan senang hati. Menurutnya, keberhasilan dari program pascasarjana Unpaz harus sejalan dengan riset. &#8221;Semakin baik pola riset dari universitas, maka semakin baik pula program pascasarjana. Riset dan pascasarjana tidak dapat terpisahkan,&#8221; tuturnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Untuk meresmikan berbagai kerjasama tersebut, Unpaz dan ITS menandatangani <em>Memorandum of Understanding <\/em>(MoU). Kerjasama yang dilakukan akan berjalan selama lima tahun. &quot;Kami berjanji ITS akan menjadi <em>partner<\/em> pengembangan riset yang baik bagi Unpaz,&quot; pungkas Darminto.
