Hingga akhirnya diperoleh 25 orang volunter dari seleksi <em>interview<\/em>, presentasi, dan <em>on the job training<\/em>. &#8221;Sehingga total volunter baru dan lama berjumlah 47 orang mahasiswa,&#8221; terang Koordinator Volunter IO ITS, Muhammad Wahyu Islami PM.<\/p>\n<p>Peran dan tugas mereka selama satu tahun ke depan telah dibahas dalam rapat kerja (raker) yang dihadiri oleh sekitar 37 orang volunter IO ITS. Raker tersebut membahas seputar kegiatan masing-masing divisi. Selain itu terpilih koordinator volunter yang baru, yaitu M Zendy Drivarma. Sedangkan pelantikan kepengurusan baru akan dilakukan bulan September mendatang.<\/p>\n<p>Berbeda dengan tahun sebelumnya, kali ini ITS Goes Global akan menambah beberapa acara seperti&nbsp;<em> study excursion<\/em> dan <em>staff internship<\/em> ke Thailand. IO ITS juga menyediakan fasilitas <em>mailchimp, <\/em>yang berfungsi<em> <\/em>sebagai perantara arus informasi terbaru dari IO ITS untuk sivitas akademika ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas tersebut, sivitas ITS cukup mendaftar dan mengisi email. &#8221;Selanjutnya info terbaru akan dikirim melalui email tersebut,&#8221; terang mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Sipil ini.<\/p>\n<p>Disediakan juga <em>workshop<\/em> untuk dosen dan staff yang disebut dengan <em>mastering research<\/em>. Program tersebut akan membahas cara pembuatan proposal program S3 dan publikasi jurnal internasional.<\/p>\n<p>Mereka juga menyiapkan acara khusus internal volunter. Misalnya, pelatihan penulisan artikel <em>flash<\/em> dan pembuatan website. Keduanya diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan untuk membentuk media promosi IO ITS. &#8221;Harapannya rangkaian acara ini dapat memberi kesempatan kepada mahasiswa ITS untuk membuka wawasan lebih luas,&#8221; kata mahasiswa angkatan 2010 ini.
