Salah satu faktor menurunnya pesanan kapal adalah profesionalitas. Beberapa galangan kapal nasional sering tidak menepati&nbsp;<em>deadline&nbsp;<\/em>pembuatan kapal yang telah ditentukan. &#8221;Keterlambatan lebih banyak terjadi pada perusahaan-perusahaan milik BUMN,&#8221; ujarnya.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Sementara itu, ketua Ikatan Perusahaan Industri Kapal dan Lepas Pantai Indonesia (Iperindo) cabang Jawa Timur, Ir Bambang Haryo, menegaskan bahwa keterlambatan pembuatan kapal yang terjadi bukan sepenuhya kesalahan galangan. Melainkan, banyak aspek pemicu lainnya, seperti material pembuatan kapal.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>Sebagian besar material pembuatan kapal di Indonesia masih mengimpor dari luar negeri. Sehingga banyak waktu yang tersita selama proses pengiriman. Selain itu, minimnya bantuan dana dari pemerintah semakin memperlambat proses produksi. &#8221;Kami sebenarnya juga mengeluhkan tingginya bea cukai dan pajak pengiriman material,&#8221; tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p>Akibat masalah tersebut, geliat industri perkapalan menurun tajam.&nbsp;Bahkan, beberapa galangan kecil rugi serta hampir gulung tikar. Melalui Dialog Interaktif tersebut para mahasiswa semakin sadar dengan kondisi terkini industri maritim nasional. Kondisi tersebut diharapkan menjadi kesadaran mahasiswa ketika terjun ke dunia kerja nantinya. <\/p>\n<p>Kegiatan ini juga dimanfaatkan sebagai media diskusi antara tiga elemen masyarakat. Yaitu akademisi, pemerintah, dan pengusaha. &quot;Tak jarang, para pebisnis menjadikan acara ini sebagai sarana menyampaikan keluhan terhadap pemerintah,&#8221; ujar Intan Pratiwi, ketua panitia.
