Mereka ingin segalanya dapat dimiliki,&#8221; ujar Stefan mengawali paparannya mengenai <em>Engineering Spirit for Economy Corporate Business<\/em>. Ia mengatakan, pola pikir yang menasbihkan harta merupakan pokok permasalahan yang seharusnya diubah. Menurutnya, sudah seharusnya generasi saat ini mengedepankan kepedulian antar sesama, terutama terhadap lingkungan sekitar.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam presentasi yang lain, Hendro Nurhadi menguraikan <em>Kebermanfaatan dan Kebergunaan Teknologi<\/em>. Secara singkat ia memberikan tiga pandangan terhadap perkembangan dunia teknologi yang seharusnya tidak disalahgunakan. Pertama, ialah kecanggihan teknologi. Ia mencontohkan <em>Machine Vision, <\/em>sebuah teknologi yang tengah dikembangkan.<\/p>\n<p>Teknologi ini berfungsi sebagai alat pengukur tingkat kejulingan mata seseorang yang mengalami penyakit tertentu di bidang kesehatan mata. &#8221;Ini berawal dari penyakit juling semu yang diderita anak saya. Akhirnya, saya berkeinginan untuk membuat teknologi yang mampu membantu orang lain,&#8221; jelas dosen Jurusan Teknik Mesin ITS ini. <\/p>\n<p>Sebagai perbandingan, Hendro menyebutkan tank dan nuklir sebagai teknologi yang disalahgunakan. &#8221;Saya menyebut penyalahgunaan teknologi sebagai <em>technology disaster<\/em>,&#8221; katanya. Padahal, teknologi seharusnya digunakan untuk kebaikan dan upaya menjaga perdamaian. Teknologi ini masuk dalam kategori <em>Technology for Mankind and Peace<\/em>, seperti kapal selam untuk alat pertahanan.<\/p>\n<p>Tak hanya soal teknologi, TEDx ITS ini menghadirkan sosok yang berkecimpung di dunia seni. Ia adalah Irfan Asy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ari Sudirman. Pria yang akrab disapa Ipang Wahid adalah seorang sutradara film yang telah banyak melalang buana di dunia industri kreatif Indonesia. Dalam kesempatannya selama 20 menit, ia membahas mengenai <em>Self-Creative Empowerment <\/em>yakni tentang kiat-kiat untuk membangun kreativitas dari diri sendiri.<\/p>\n<p>Ia menceritakan pengalamannya ketika menyutradarai beberapa iklan.&#8221;Perspektif utama yang harus dibangun adalah menyadari jika kreativitas adalah milik semua orang. Kemudian memperbanyak pengalaman untuk menghadapi tantangan dan jangan pernah puas,&#8221; katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut ia juga mengatakan seseorang juga perlu belajar dari banyak hal yang berada disekitarnya. Menurut Ipang, terkadang kita memerlukan referensi untuk bisa berkreasi, seseorang pun dapat mengambil pengalaman orang lain dalam hal tersebut.
