Hal ini terlihat dari jumlah penonton yang memenuhi <em>hall<\/em> Sutos. Menurutnya, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk mengenalkan jurusan Tekkim ITS terhadap masyarakat Surabaya. &#8221;Khususnya pada anak SMA kelas tiga yang akan melanjutkan ke jenjang perkuliahan,&#8221; tambahnya.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih jauh, ia juga menjelaskan bahwa istilah <em>Orday<\/em> mengacu pada simbol jurusan Tekkim yang identik dengan warna jingga. Harapannya, hari tersebut menjadi hari khusus bagi mahasiswa Tekkim berkumpul. &quot;Jadi <em>Orday<\/em> itu seperti harinya anak Tekkim,&quot; tutur mahasiswa berkacamata ini.<\/p>\n<p>Secara bergantian, seluruh bintang tamu menghibur penonton yang hadir. Raisa yang tampil sebagai penutup acara berhasil membuat seluruh pengunjung bersorak. Pasalnya, lagu <em>Could It Be, <\/em>miliknya ia sukses dibawakan dengan improvisasi yang menarik. <\/p>\n<p>Sebenarnya, <em>Orday<\/em> ini telah dimulai sejak siang hari. Raymond mengatakan, <em>Orday <\/em>ini diawali dengan final kompetisi <em>dance<\/em> dan <em>band<\/em>. Masing-masing terdapat lima tim yang bertanding. <\/p>\n<p>Pada kesempatan tersebut juga diumumkan pemenang lomba Chemical Engineering Car Competition (Chem-E Car) 2013 yang telah digelar sehari sebelumnya. Sebagai pemenang pertama adalah Tim Subali IV dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Menyusul di urutan kedua adalah Tim Spectronics 5 yang merupakan wakil ITS. Sedangkan, Tim Anjani I yang juga berasal dari UGM menjadi juara ketiga.
