Himatekla ingin mengajak mahasiswanya untuk bisa mengaplikasikan ilmu yang didapat saat berada di bangku kuliah.<\/p>\n<p>Puput Puji Rahayu, Ketua Departemen Riset dan Teknologi Himatekla mengatakan, kegiatan ini memang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas mahasiswa untuk bisa membuat bangunan lepas pantai. &quot;Minimal dalam bentuk miniaturnyanya saja,&quot; tuturnya.<\/p>\n<p>Konsep acaranya sendiri berlangsung selama dua hari sejak Sabtu (4\/5). Di hari pertama, digelar sebuah acara <em>workshop<\/em> pembuatan maket <em>offshore<\/em>. Turun sebagai pemateri, Dr Rudi Waluyo ST MT, salah satu dosen Jurusan Teknik Kelautan (JTK) menyampaikan tentang bagaimana pembuatan bangunan laut secara garis besarnya. Sedangkan Muhammad Haryanto, salah satu Alumni Jurusan Arsitektur ITS yang juga mengisi pemateri selanjutnya lebih menekankan tentang pembuatan maket itu sendiri. <\/p>\n<p>&quot;<em>Workshop<\/em> ini diadakan agar peserta lebih mengerti tentang bagaimana membuat maket, terutama bagi mahasiswa angkatan 2012 yang masih baru,&quot; jelas Puput. Acara ini memang diikuti oleh seluruh mahasiswa JTK, termasuk mahasiswa tahun pertama. Dengan adanya workshop tersebut, seluruh mahasiswa akan paham tentang cara membuat maket.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam pembuatan maket, peserta hanya diperbolehkan untuk membuat maket dengan tinggi maksimal antara setengah hingga satu meter. Sedangkan lebarnya harus lebih dari 0,3 meter. &quot;Kalau desainnya ditentukan oleh panitia. Jika ingin menambah sebagai hiasan ya terserah,&quot; tambah Puput. Sedangkan kayu partisi dan kertas duplex menjadi bahan utama pembuatan maket tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Puput berharap agar ajar ini bisa terus diselenggarakan serta bisa berkembang menjadi <em>event<\/em> yang lebih besar. Pasalnya, hal ini akan menunjang kreativitas serta pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang pembuatan bangunan lepas pantai.&quot;Jadi mahasiswa bukan hanya tahu teori di bangku kuliah saja, tetapi juga bisa mengaplikasikannya,&quot; pungkasnya.
