{"id":16205,"date":"2013-04-21T06:29:37","date_gmt":"2013-04-21T06:29:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2013\/04\/21\/pelatihan-advokasi-bantu-mahasiswa-bermasalah\/"},"modified":"2013-04-21T06:29:37","modified_gmt":"2013-04-21T06:29:37","slug":"pelatihan-advokasi-bantu-mahasiswa-bermasalah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/pelatihan-advokasi-bantu-mahasiswa-bermasalah\/","title":{"rendered":"Pelatihan Advokasi, Bantu Mahasiswa Bermasalah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mengusung tema <em>Care Respect and Action to Realize Student Prosperity and Independency<\/em>, Kesma BEM ITS hendak menunjukkan bahwa kepedulian antar mahasiswa sangatlah penting. &#8221;Bukan hanya sekedar peduli, tetapi juga butuh aksi,&amp;&#8221; ujar Ferry Arieska, ketua pelaksana.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Arieska, kegiatan ini lebih menekankan pada bagaimana cara untuk membantu mahasiswa yang terancam terkena <em>Drop Out<\/em> (DO) oleh birokrasi. Biasanya karena faktor finansial dan akademik. &#8221;Di ITS, sebagian besar DO disebabkan oleh masalah akademik. Oleh karena itu, disini kita juga mengajarkan bagaimana cara melobi yang baik dengan birokrasi,&#8221; lanjutnya..<\/p>\n<p>Pada pelatihan ini, Kepala Badan Pembinaan Kemahasiswaan dan Hubungan Alumni, Dr Ir&nbsp; Bambang Sampurno MT dan Kepala Badan Akademik ITS, Dr Dra Ismaini Zain MSi hadir sebagai pemateri. Dalam uraiannya, Bambang menyampaian materi tentang sistem Uang Kuliah Tunggal (UKT). Sedangkan Ismaini menjelaskan mengenai alur advokasi yang ada di Badan Akademik ITS.<\/p>\n<p>Pelatihan ini turut mengajak peserta melakukan simulasi advokasi. Peserta mendapatkan sebuah studi kasus yang harus didiskusikan dengan pihak birokrasi. Dikatakan Arieska, simulasi ini dilakukan guna melihat daya serap peserta terhadap setiap materi. Selain itu juga melatih kemampuan peserta agar tidak canggung saat berhadapan dengan birokrasi.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, ia berharap bahwa peserta dapat menularkan materi yang diperoleh kepada mahasiswa lain. &#8221;Lebih dari itu, saya juga berharap bahwa suatu saat para peserta dapat membantu mahasiswa lain yang sedang bermasalah minimal di lingkup jurusan,&#8221;pungkanya.
