{"id":15597,"date":"2013-01-27T09:32:11","date_gmt":"2013-01-27T09:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/2013\/01\/27\/pertama-elektro-cetak-doktor-asal-palestina\/"},"modified":"2013-01-27T09:32:11","modified_gmt":"2013-01-27T09:32:11","slug":"pertama-elektro-cetak-doktor-asal-palestina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/pertama-elektro-cetak-doktor-asal-palestina\/","title":{"rendered":"Pertama, Elektro Cetak Doktor Asal Palestina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Berawal dari permasalahan yang sering ia temui di kelas, Nedal, ia merumuskan disertasinya yang bertajuk <em>Adaptive Virtual Classroom Model (AVCM) Based on Student Modelling and Course Sequencing.<\/em>Selama ini, ia menemukan fakta bahwa tingkat pemahaman pelajar yang berbeda-beda dalam suatu kelas. Hal inilah yang mendorongnya untuk melakukan riset terkait hal tersebut. <\/p>\n<p>Lulusan doktor ke-24 Program Doktor Teknik Elektro ITS ini mengungkapkan bahwa perbedaan itu disebabkan banyak faktor. Seperti halnya tingkat pengetahuan, kemampuan, kesenangan terhadap suatu mata kuliah, dan sebagainya.<\/p>\n<p>Konsep sistem pembelajaran adaptif inilah yang ia usung sebagai alternatif yang mampu menyelesaikan atau meminimalisir masalah tersebut. &#8221;Ini dikarenakan keuntungan yang diberikan sistem ini,&#8221; tegas<em> promovendus<\/em> sekaligus dosen di Palestine Technical College itu.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Nedal menjelaskan bahwa sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan kemampuan untuk menambah atau mengganti komponen tanpa mengubah sistemnya. Model sistem menggunakan data independen dan mudah digunakan tanpa harus membutuhkan pelatihan tingkat tinggi bagi pelajar dan pengajar pemula. &#8221;Selain itu, masih menggunakan perangkat sederhana seperti <em>Page Hypertext Preprocessing<\/em> (PHP) dan <em>Structured Query Language<\/em> (SQL),&#8221; tutur pria kelahiran 23 Maret 1970 itu.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>Sidang terbuka promosi doktor kali ini terlihat istimewa. Pasalnya, Duta Besar Palestina untuk Indonesia,&nbsp; Fariz N Mehdawi turut menghadiri sidang tersebut. Demikian juga Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, Prof Dr Ir Mohammad Nuh DEA.&nbsp; Hal itu merupakan suatu upaya untuk mendukung lulusnya doktor ke-10 yang didelegasikan Palestina untuk belajar di Indonesia.
