Meskipun terhalang oleh jarak yang jauh,Indonesia-Jepang, acara tersebut tetap berlangsung menarik dengan menggunakan teknolgi t<em>eleconference via skype<\/em>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dalam acara tersebut ia menjelaskan tentang apa sebenarnya mawarpres itu. &#8221; Mawapres hanyalah sebuah gelar yang disematkan pada mahasiswa yang memenangkan ajang tersebut, sebenarnya apabila dalam hidup kita ada perubahan yang lebih baik meskipun sedikit, &nbsp;itu dapat disebut &nbsp;mawapres,&#8221; ungkapnya.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ia lalu melanjutkan, mengapa seorang aktivis <em>kok<\/em> harus berprestasi. &#8221; Ada banyak alasan mengapa harus berprestasi,&#8221; tambahnya. Berprestasi adalah sebuah keharusan bagi seorang mahasiswa terutama aktivis. Yang kedua, prestasi itu untuk menunjukan pada dunia luar bahwa seorang aktivis tidak hanya orang pintar<em> ngurusin<\/em> orgasisasi tapi juga akademik.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ia juga menjelaskan mengenai berbagai permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh aktivis. Diantaranya, menejemen waktu yang kurang baik. Berikutnya, manajemen pola pikir yang yang kurang tepat, kalau nilai akademiknya buruk yang disalahin organisasinya sebailknya jika organisasinya buruk yang disalahin akademiknya. &#8221; Jangan jadi mahasiswa yang <em>study oriented<\/em> dan <em>organization oriented<\/em> saja, namun yang <em>tawazun<\/em> ( seimbang, red),&#8221; lanjut Alumni IPB tersebut.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Dalam acara tersebut ia juga berbagi pengalaman dirinya saat menjadi mawapres 1 nasional. Menurutnya persipan dan proses menjadi mawapres itu melelahkan sehingga diperlukan sebuah tim <em>back up<\/em> yang dapat membantu hal-hal kecil terkait pengumpulan berkas. &#8221; <em>Know when to stay low and when needed to show off<\/em>,&#8221; ungkapnya. Percaya diri itu memang sangat diperlukan, tapi punya &#8221;pembanding&#8221; dan &#8221;penasihat&#8221; itu juga penting. Tak lupa ia juga berpesan, &#8221; Persiapkan diri jauh-jauh untuk menuju mawapres dan prestasi dalam skala internasional juga penting&#8221;.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8221;Mawapres hanyalah salah satu sarana untuk meraih prestasi, masih banyak sekali sarana lainnya untuk berprestasi, semua tergantung kita mau apa tidak untuk berprestasi,&#8221; pungkasnya.
