Terlebih karena enam diantaranya masih menunjukkan performa yang kurang mantap pada tahap <em>practicing<\/em> sehari yang lalu.<\/p>\n<p>Arjuna Hore<em>&#8211; prototype<\/em> listrik dari Universitas Indonesia (UI), Semar<em>&#8211; prototype<\/em> gasoline dari Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Horas- <em>urban<\/em> gasoline dari Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) dan tiga mobil dari ITS, yakni ITS Team 1<em>&#8211; prototype<\/em> gasoline, ITS Team 2<em>&#8211; urban diesel<\/em>, SAE_ZEV Otomasi ITS Team<em>&#8211; prototype listrik<\/em> adalah mobil yang telah mengikuti <em>practicing<\/em>. Selain nama-nama di atas ada pula mobil Nakoela Hore<em>&#8211; prototype<\/em> gasoline dari UI, dan Semar<em>&#8211; urban <\/em>gasoline yang telah lolos <em>scrutineering<\/em> namun belum sempat mencoba performa mobil mereka di lintasan balap. Hal ini dikarenakan waktu uji kelayakan yang telah usai.<\/p>\n<p>Diantara mobil-mobil yang telah mengikuti practicing, hasil yang cukup baik ditorehkan oleh Horas dan Arjuna Hore. &#8221;Kedua mobil ini sempat gagal pada percobaan practicing awal, namun berhasil menyelesaikan track pada percobaan yang kedua,&#8221; terang Syahrafi Widyanpratama, tim RC yang mengawas <em>practicing<\/em>. Tim yang lain masih terkendala dengan urusan teknis pada mobil mereka masing-masing.<\/p>\n<p>Didit Hardyanto, ketua IEMC 2012, menjelaskan, hari ini, seluruh tim diberi kesempatan untuk melakukan perhitungan efisiensi bahan bakar mobil mereka lewat <em>race<\/em> di lintasan Kenjeran Park. Namun, Didit menambahkan, seluruh tim tetap harus lolos dalam tahap scrutineering sebelum nantinya dapat menjajal lintasan balap. Hari ini adalah kesempatan kedua bagi tim yang pada hari pertama belum sempat dan masih gagal dalam memasuki tahap <em>scrutineering<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Menyadari kalau mobil mereka masih memiliki banyak kekurangan, seluruh tim mengaku akan memaksimalkan <em>setting<\/em> mobil mereka pada hari kedua ini. &#8221;Setiap peserta hanya diperbolehkan memperbaiki mobil mereka di <em>paddock<\/em> dan pada waktu acara yang telah ditentukan panitia,&#8221; tambah Didit.
