Melahirkan 51 generasi, membuat Elits dirasa memerlukan momentum untuk bersatu kembali. Salah satunya adalah dengan melaksanakan Temu Akbar Alumni ini yang disisipkan pada rangkaian acara Kongres Ikatan Alumni Elits 2012.<\/p>\n

Bertemakan Elits Reunited with New Paradigm<\/em>, momen ini ingin dijadikan sebagai penjaringan dan pewadahan ulang para alumni Elits. Merekatelah tersebar di berbagai instansi baik negeri maupun swasta, di dalam negeri maupun mancanegara.<\/p>\n

Sekitar 500 alumni Elits memenuhi Ruangan Puri Agung Ballroom Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta. Selain hadir mantan rektor ITS itu,  hadir pula Ir Irnanda Laksanawan MSc Eng, Ketua Pengurus Pusat IKA ITS. Tidak hanya itu, turut hadir. Gita Irawan Wirjawan, Menteri Perdagangan Republik Indonesia, dan Chairul Tanjung, Ketua Komite Ekonomi Nasional.<\/p>\n

Kedua tokoh itu menyampaikan tentang peran Information and Communication Technology<\/em> (ICT) dan Energi dalam mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia dan peran Indonesia dalam perdagangan global di bidang ICT dan energi tersebut.<\/p>\n

Di akhir sambutannya, Nuh berpesan bahwa siapapun yang akan terpilih pada kongres ini, semata-mata hanya untuk mencapai kemajuan.
