Program-program tersebut nantinya akan tersedia bagi mahasiswa dari seluruh jenjang di ITS ITS. &#8221;Terdapat program beasiswa juga bagi mereka yang terseleksi,&#8221; terang Ryuya Kamamura, manajer <em>International Affairs <\/em>KU.<\/p>\n<p>Umumnya, program beasiswa ini diberikan oleh pemerintah Jepang atau perusahaan-perusahaan tertentu. Namun, <em>International Joint Education Program for Science and Technology <\/em>(IJEP) yang ditawarkan akan diberikan khusus oleh KU. &#8221;Besarnya bantuan finansial yang diberikan IJEP berkisar antara Rp 8-12 juta per bulan,&#8221; jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagian besar program yang ditawarkan merupakan program pertukaran jangka pendek. Terdapat tujuh fakultas untuk studi yang disediakan. Namun, untuk ITS sendiri, KU hanya menawarkan program <em>engineering <\/em>dan <em>science and technology <\/em>sesuai <em>background <\/em>pendidikan mahasiswa di ITS.<\/p>\n<p><em>International Office <\/em>(IO) ITS sebagai penyelenggara menekankan pentingnya persiapan mahasiswa ITS jika ingin mengikuti program ini. Menurut Ketua IO, Maria Anityasari ST ME PhD, studi ke luar negeri tidak mudah. Para mahasiswa harus berusaha keras untuk mendapatkannya.<\/p>\n<p>Sedikitnya ada beberapa tips yang diberikan IO melalui penyampaian Merry Puspamega. &#8221;Kuncinya punya banyak informasi terkait beasiswa yang ingin kita tuju, skor GPA dan TOEFL yang mencukupi persyaratan serta niat yang besar,&#8221; ujanya. Merry adalah mahasiswa ITS yang sempat mengenyam pendidikan selama setahun di KU.
