Pukul 06.00, Taman Alumni terlihat padat oleh sivitas akademika ITS. Mereka tengah mengikuti senam pagi sebagai awalan pembukaan DN ke-52 ini. Dari Taman Alumni, kontingen dari lembaga ITS termasuk fakultas berjalan menuju Stadion ITS untuk mengikuti upacara <\/em>pembukaan DN.<\/p>\n

Setiap fakultas memilih pakaian berwarna khas yang mencerminkan fakultasnya. Misalnya, Fakultas Teknik Sipil dan Perencanaan (FTSP) dengan warna hitam dan Fakultas Teknologi Industri (FTI) dengan warna merah. Tidak hanya itu, yel-yel dan slogan masing-masing kontingen yang saling bersahutan pun turut memeriahkan.<\/p>\n

Prof Ir Eko Budi Djatmiko MSc PhD, ketua umum DN ke-52 memaparkan seluruh rangkaian acara. Setidaknya,10 acara dipersiapkan untuk merayakan ulang tahun ke-52 ini. Di antaranya, Jalan Sehat yang akan dihelat pertengahan November, Pasar Seni ITS, kegiatan sosial, dan Temu Alumni. <\/p>\n

Selain itu, juga dihelat Fun Bike<\/em>, dan aksi Gowes Surabaya-Jakarta oleh Ikatan Alumni ITS. Bersamaan dengan pembukaan ini, berbagai perlombaan seperti Sepak Bola U-40, Futsal U-40, dan 10 pertandingan cabang olahraga lainnya mulai digelar.<\/p>\n

Rektor ITS, Prof Dr Ir Tri Yogi Yuwono DEA mengatakan lomba olahraga tersebut adalah salah satu cara untuk memupuk kebersamaan sivitas akademika ITS. Oleh karena itu, ia berharap setiap lini lembaga ITS dapat mengikuti pertandingan olahraga tersebut. Sehingga, dapat menjunjung tinggi kebersamaan. ”Tidak lain untuk membangun ITS menjadi lebih maju lagi,” paparnya.<\/p>\n

Piala bergilir yang tahun lalu dimenangkan oleh FTSP, kini diberikan kepada Rektor ITS. Yang kemudian diberikan kepada ketua DN ke-52 untuk diperebutkan kembali dalam berbagai pertandingan olahraga.<\/p>\n

Tidak ketinggalan, parade budaya pun disuguhkan di akhir upacara pembukaan. Terdapat berbagai suguhan budaya, mulai dari siswa Taman Kanak-Kanak (TK) Dharmawanita ITS, Tari Yosakoi khas Jepang, hingga sajian Tari Reog Ponorogo. (fin\/esy)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
