Pada percobaan pertama, penampilan Ar ramadhan memang sedikit bermasalah. Hal ini disebabkan lintasan yang digunakan untuk lomba berbeda dengan di ITS. "Warna karpetnya saja berbeda," jelas Rully Muhammad Iqbal, ketua tim KRCI beroda ITS.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, susunan hambatan lantai (urt event floor)<\/em> juga tidak sesuai dengan wacana sebelumnya. Benda tersebut mempersulit gerak Ar Ramadhan. Akibatnya, robot beroda tersebut tak dapat bergerak sedikitpun. "Saya kira panitia mengalami miss <\/em>saat menyusun rintangan," terang Rully. Ar Ramadhan sendiri memerlukan waktu beradaptasi dengan lintasan seperti itu.<\/p>\n

Namun, hal tersebut berbalik 180 derajat ketika mesin berotak ini menjalani percobaan kedua. Trek yang sebelumnya mempersulit geraknya, akhirnya dapat ditaklukan dengan mudah. "Berangkatnya memakan waktu 1,07 menit, sedangkan kembalinya hanya butuh 26 detik," tambah mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Elektro ITS.<\/p>\n

Rully dan anggota tim Ar Ramadhan lainnya berharap dapat menjalani sesi berikutnya dengan lancar. Oleh sebab itu, dikatakannya, setiap doa dan dukungan dari sivitas akademika ITS sangatlah penting.
