Lewat Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa bidang Teknologi (PKMT) berjudul <em>Soerabaia in 3D Photorealistic 3D Modelling untuk Promosi Cagar Budaya di Surabaya melalui Google Earth<\/em>, mereka berhasil membuat 26 model 3D.<\/p>\n<p>Berkat karya mereka, 14 cagar budaya yang tersebar di kota pahlawan dapat dilihat bentuk aslinya dari semua sudut pandang melalui <em>Google Earth<\/em>. Baik dari atas, depan, kiri, kanan dapat diamati dengan jelas. Contohnya, kantor gubernur, kantor walikota, Tugu Pahlawan, pintu Kali Jagir, dan Jembatan Merah. &quot;Targetnya 26, tapi masih 14 cagar budaya,&quot; ujar Husnul.<\/p>\n<p>Dikatakannya, bangunan-bangunan cagar budaya di Indonesia masih banyak yang belum terhimpun di <em>Google Earth<\/em>. Artinya, hanya dapat diamati dari atas. Oleh karena itulah, mereka berusaha memperkenalkan cagar budaya di Indonesia, dimulai dari Suarabaya. Hal ini bisa menjadi daya tarik wisatawan.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak cukup sampai di situ, mereka juga melampirkan deskripsi singkat untuk masing-masing cagar budaya. Sehingga dapat menambah daya pikat untuk berkunjung ke lokasi tersebut. Pencarian jaringan ke situs-situs budaya tersebut juga dilakukan untuk mengambil gambar. Dalam hal ini, tim Husnul tidak bekerja sendiri. Mereka bekerja sama dengan komunitas Rooderbrug Soerabaia, pecinta sejarah di Surabaya. <\/p>\n<p>Mereka mengakui, foto merupakan data unggulan yang nanti diolah dengan <em>Google Sketch Up<\/em>. Tidak tanggung-tanggung, untuk satu lokasi, mereka membutuhkan ratusan foto dari berbagai titik. &quot;Beberapa foto juga dibantu oleh teman-teman Rooderbrug Soerabaia,&quot; tambah Ana .<\/p>\n<p>Mega juga menuturkan memiliki pengalaman unik dalam mengambil foto. Ia pernah menunggu bis yang menutupi pandangannya dari titik tertentu. Saat bis tersebut beranjak, bis lain berhenti di tempat yang sama. &quot;Jadi saya harus nunggu lama,&quot; kenangnya sembari tersenyum.<\/p>\n<p>Dengan karya ini, mereka berharap daya tarik objek wisata semakin besar. Dengan demikian, Indonesia semakin dikenal. Selain itu, diharapkan kepedualian masyarakat terhadap kondisi cagar budaya semakin meningkat.
