Anak-anak kecil tersebut dengan antusias menanti kapal mungil tersebut dijalankan oleh beberapa mahasiswa ITS dan PPNS. Di sisi yang lain, sebagian anak juga tengah berkerumun mengamati proses pembuatan roket air yang sedang didemokan. <\/p>\n<p>Teci merupakan kegiatan besutan program <em>Sosial Development<\/em> (Sosdev) BEM ITS bersama tim PKMM mahasiswa PPNS, Tangguh Dwi Rahmawan. BEM ITS memang telah menggelar program sosdev sejak tahun lalu di Keputih Pompa. Karena kebetulan program pengabdian serta daerah pengaplikasian PKMM milik Tangguh&nbsp; sama, maka mereka memutuskan untuk bekerja sama. &#8221;Karena salah satu tim PKM kami juga aktif dalam sosdev<em> <\/em>jadi acara ini kami selenggarakan bersama,&#8221; tutur Tangguh, Ketua Tim PKMM.<\/p>\n<p>Dwi Didit Prasetyo, Ketua Panitia Sosdev BEM ITS, menjelaskan bahwa pembuatan roket air dan kapal<em> tuk-tuk <\/em>ini merupakan pembelajaran <em>outdoor <\/em>dari kurikulum sekolah rakyat. &#8221;Hari Minggu malam merupakan jadwal mengajar Sosdev untuk mengajak belajar anak-anak,&#8221; ungkap Didit.<\/p>\n<p>Bukan sembarangan, pembuatan roket air dan kapal <em>tuk-tuk<\/em> tersebut sengaja dipilih&nbsp; karena dalam pembuatannya sarat akan teknologi sederhana. Salah satunya yaitu penerapan konsep fisika dasar sederhana. Tidak setengah-setengah, untuk pembuatan roket, panitia Sosdev&nbsp; menyediakan berbagai alat dan kelengkapan yang dibutuhkan dan anak-anak. Sedangkan pada kapal <em>tuk-tuk,<\/em> anak-anak kecil tesebut hanya ditunjukkan cara untuk membuat kapal agar dapat berjalan. &#8221;Bila kita mengajak adik-adik untuk membuat kapal, prosesnya terlalu lama,&#8221; imbuh Didit. <\/p>\n<p>Beberapa anak sempat terlihat kecewa karena kapal <em>tuk-tuk<\/em>-nya belum bisa berjalan di atas air. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena kurangnya pendamping untuk menyalakan kapal <em>tuk-tuk<\/em>. Namun, kekecewaan tersebut dapat teratasi ketika kemudian kapal mereka dapat berjalan diatas permukaan air. <\/p>\n<p>Didit berharap dengan diadakannya acara ini dapat menambah pengetahuan anak-anak dibidang teknologi. Karena dengan belajar sambil bermain ini anak-anak dapat dengan mudah menyerap ilmu yang diberikan.
