Dalam sambutannya, Rektor yang hobi bersepeda ini menyatakan harapannya untuk acara besar sekelas ITS Expo di masa depan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;ITS Expo harus semakin berkembang dan menjadi acara yang dinanti masyarakat,&#8221; terang Tri Yogi. Dirinya menambahkan bahwa yang paling penting adalah usaha. Usaha menjadikan ITS Expo sebagai acara kelas nasional yang mampu menampilkan eksistensi dan karya ITS di masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>Semarak pembukaan ITS Expo semakin meriah dengan rangkaian acara final kompetisi Robot In Action, yang hadir usai seremonial pembukaan ITS Expo. Selain membuka acara ITS Expo, Tri Yogi turut menyaksikan persiapan para finalis kompetisi robot untuk pelajar tingkat nasional.<\/p>\n<p>Selain bersama Presiden BEM ITS, Tri Yogi juga ditemani Dr Ing Ir Herman Sasongko dan Dr Ir Bambang Sampurno serta jajaran staf lain guna mengunjungi Gelar Karya Mahasiswa (GKM). Pada kesempatan ini, Dr Ir Bambang Sampurno memberikan sambutan khusus guna membuka babak final kompetisi tersebut. &#8221;Kompetisi seperti ini dapat menjadi ajang silaturrahmi bagi peserta dari seluruh nusantara,&#8221; ungkap Bambang di hadapan finalis dan pengunjung ITS Expo.<\/p>\n<p>Selama berkunjung dan menyaksikan semarak pembukaan ITS Expo, Tri Yogi juga menyampaikan harapannya untuk karya mahasiswa ITS. &#8221;Di masa depan, harus ada acara khusus yang melibatkan mahasiswa untuk menampilkan karya prestasi sivitas akademika ITS,&#8221; kata Tri Yogi.
