Selain materi, terdapat pula ujian sertifikasi di akhir acara yang ditujukan untuk mendapatkan sertifikat bagi peserta.<\/p>\n<p>Sertifikasi ini diharapkan dapat memberi nilai tambah dalam dunia pekerjaan. &quot;Teori yang diberikan di sini diharapkan dapat diaplikasikan di dunia kerja. Sehingga meningkatkan kualitas dari <em>output<\/em> yang dihasilkan,&quot; ujar Marjasa Ulitua Manurung, ketua panitia. <\/p>\n<p>Bertempat di ruang seminar Gedung National Ship Design &amp; Engineering Center (NASDEC) digelar pelatihan bertajuk <em>Pengawasan Mesin Diesel Kapal dan Manajemen Bahan Bakar Kapal<\/em>. Pelatihan ini merupakan yang kedua kalinya digelar tahun ini setelah sempat digelar awal Februari lalu dengan tema yang berbeda. <\/p>\n<p>Rencananya, seminar ini akan diadakan setiap bulan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan industri di bidang perkapalan. Pada pelatihan kali ini, 26 peserta yang terdiri dari 10 mahasiswa S1, enam mahasiswa S2, dan 10 dari umum turut ambil bagian. Peserta umum biasanya merupakan pegawai dari perwakilan perusahaan di bidang kelautan dan perkapalan yang ingin meng-<em>upgrade<\/em> kualitasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Pengisi materi merupakan perwakilan Imarest yang telah malang melintang lebih dari 10 tahun di dunia perkapalan. Beberapa diantaranya yakni Indrajaya Gerianto MSc CEng CMarEng dan Darjan Prananta CEng CMarEng. &quot;Materi ini masih awal, kami merencanakan ada pelatihan lanjutan tentang manajemen penggunaan bahan bakar di kapal,&quot; sebut Prananta.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu peserta umum perwakilan dari PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) mengaku cukup mengapresiasi acara pelatihan ini. &quot;Acaranya bagus karena berpengaruh ke depannya untuk mengaplikasikan pada hal yang lebih canggih dan modern,&quot; tutur Yunian Krisnanda, alumni Teknik Sistem Perkapalan angkatan 2004.
