Mengusung tema <em>Learn to be Smart and Professional Speaker<\/em>, acara ini merupakan program kerja (proker) yang rutin diadakan setiap tahun.<\/p>\n<p>Pembicara tunggal yang hadir yakni Andarsih Dwi Sintoro Wati. Saat ini, Andarsih bekerja di Total E&amp;P Indonesie, perusahaan minyak dan gas bumi asal Prancis. Ia bertugas di Balikpapan dan menjabat sebagai <em>Field Operation Secretary<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Ada tiga materi yang dibawakan Andarsih. Pertama, membuat <em>slide<\/em> presentasi yang baik. Setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan materi persiapan presentasi dan pembawaan presentasi itu sendiri. Tak lupa diadakan simulasi di akhir acara dengan memilih empat peserta secara acak untuk presentasi di depan panggung. <\/p>\n<p>Setelah simulasi, panitia memutar ulang video presentasi untuk diberikan komentar oleh pembicara. &quot;Rata-rata cukup bagus, namun masih ada beberapa kekurangan. Seperti canggung, berbicara terlalu cepat, dan <em>slide<\/em> presentasi yang masih memuat banyak tulisan,&quot; ujar Wiryawan Priharnanto, ketua panitia.<\/p>\n<p>Jumlah peserta yang hadir sekitar 40 orang. Peserta tersebar mulai dari angkatan 2011 hingga 2005, bahkan ada pula mahasiswa S2 yang mengikuti seminar ini. Digelar di tengah akhir pekan panjang, panitia memiliki trik khusus untuk membuat peserta tetap banyak yang hadir. Biaya kepesertaan sebenarnya hanya Rp10.000, namun panitia memasang harga Rp20.000 sebagai biaya awal, sedangkan sisanya Rp10.000 dapat diambil kembali saat acara. <\/p>\n<p>Acara ini dimulai pukul 08.00 dan berakhir pukul 13.00 tanpa jeda. &quot;Memang cukup panjang waktunya, ini untuk mengantisipasi pecahnya konsentrasi mahasiswa apabila diberika jeda,&quot; tutur mahasiswa Teknik Kimia angkatan 2010. Di akhir acara terdapat sebuah doorprize berupa sebuah buku karangan tokoh yang terkenal dengan gaya presentasinya, Steve Jobs.
