Acara ini akan terus berlangsung hingga Maret nanti. Beberapa cabang olahraga diperlombakan, di antaranya futsal, basket, voli, tenis, tenis meja, tarik tambang, dan catur.<\/p>\n<p>Mahasiswa dari sembilan jurusan FTI mewakili jurusannya masing-masing. &#8221;Mari tampilkan permainan yang baik,&#8221; ujar Alfyan Arif R, Ketua Pelaksana FOG. Ia berharap hubungan baik tetap dipelihara oleh masing-masing himpunan jurusan FTI.<\/p>\n<p>Segenap panitia dan fungsionaris BEM FTI mengharapkan hasil positif dari kegiatan ini. &#8221;Melalui FOG kita tampilkan permainan yang lebih baik lagi saat Dies Natalis ITS nanti,&#8221; tambah Farii Fahmiudin Fikri, Presiden BEM FTI, saat memberikan sambutan.<\/p>\n<p>Respon positif tidak hanya ditunjukkan oleh mahasiswa. Acara pembukaan juga dihadiri oleh Dekan FTI ITS, Dr Bambang Lelono ST MT. &#8221;Acara ini adalah sarana untuk merekatkan kita sebagai keluarga besar FTI,&#8221; tutur Bambang. Ia menambahkan bahwa acara ini juga menjadi sarana mencari bakat-bakat luar biasa mahasiswa FTI.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dibuka dengan Pertandingan Futsal<\/strong><br \/>Pertandingan futsal pertama pada acara FOG ini mempertemukan tim jurusan D3 Teknik Elektro dan D3 Teknik Kimia. Kedua tim sudah bersiap-siap sebelum pembukaan FOG berakhir. Bukan hanya para pemain, para supporter pun tidak mau kalah. Dengan atribut masing-masing, para penonton menunjukkan fanatisme mereka kepada tim yang mereka dukung.<\/p>\n<p>Gol cepat berhasil disarangkan tim D3 Teknik Elektro di gawang tim lawan. Skor 1-0 bertahan hingga babak pertama berakhir. Pertandingan memanas di babak kedua. Tim D3 Teknik Kimia berhasil menyamakan kedudukan. Wasit bahkan harus mengeluarkan kartu merah kepada kiper tim D3 Teknik Elektro karena menabrak pemain lawan. Sayang, kesempatan emas gagal dimanfaatkan tim lawan.<\/p>\n<p>Tim D3 Teknik Elektro justru mampu menggandakan skor melalui serangan balik. Mereka bahkan mampu menggandakan keunggulan lewat umpan-umpan cepat.
