UNNES pun kerap menggelar sebuah acara bertajuk jambore mentoring nasional untuk berbagi ilmu tentang mentoring. &#8221;Mereka bagus mentoringnya. Jadi, kita ingin <em>sharing<\/em> dan belajar dari yang lebih baik,&#8221; ucapnya. <\/p>\n<p>Tidak tanggung-tanggung, JMMI pun mengirimkan 42 orang untuk berangkat studi banding. Mahasiswa yang kerap dipanggil Yani ini mengungkapkan, ternyata rahasia suksesnya mentoring di UNNES adalah kuatnya dukungan dari birokrasi. Dijelaskan lebih lanjut, mentoring di UNNES seolah menjadi sebuah kurikulum pendidikan, yakni termasuk dalam Tutorial Pendidikan Agama Islam (TPAI). Dan TPAI langsung berada dalam naungan Pembantu Rektor I (PR I) bidang akademik. &#8221;Sehingga mentoring di sana lebih tersistem dan penuh dukungan dari berbagai pihak,&#8221; jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Awalnya, mentoring di UNNES merupakan gagasan dari para dosen yang menginginkan mahasiswa UNNES tidak hanya punya kecerdasan akademik. Namun, juga unggul dalam karakter kecerdasan emosionalnya. &#8221;Karena efek pada mahasiswanya bagus, dilanjutkan sampai sekarang,&#8221; tutur Yani lagi.<\/p>\n<p>Yani menjelaskan, selain faktor birokrasi, mentoring di UNNES tidak jauh berbeda dari yang kini diterapkan di ITS. Berbagai macam kegiatan mentoring seperti Grand Opening<em> <\/em>Mentorin<em>g<\/em> (GOM), mentorin<em>g<\/em> wajib, mabit, serta Mentoring Cup pun hampir sama konsepnya. &#8221;Hanya saja, ada satu kegiatan yaitu kuliah akhir pekan dengan penggabungan beberapa kelompok mentoring yang belum diterapkan di ITS,&#8221; papar Mahasiswa Jurusan Perencanaan Wilayah dan Kota tersebut.<\/p>\n<p>Tidak hanya UNNES, Institut Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Persatuan Guru Republik Indonesia (IKIP PGRI) Semarang pun turut dikunjungi. Yani mengungkapkan, pesan yang dipaparkan oleh Rektor IKIP PGRI pun tidak jauh dari fakta yang didapatkan di UNNES. &#8221;Perbanyak silaturrahmi, apalagi dengan birokrasi, dan teruslah bawa syiar Islam kemanapun kalian berada,&#8221; tutur Yani menirukan sambutan Rektor IKIP PGRI.<\/p>\n<p>Belajar dari UNNES yang mentoringnya telah tersistem dengan baik, Yani berharap hal yang sama juga akan segera terwujud di ITS. Ia menginginkan perubahan ke depan lebih baik. &#8221;Semoga dapat lebih fokus, tersistem, dan lebih terasa efeknya pada mahasiswa pasca mentoring,&#8221; harapnya.
