Namun perpustakaan juga berfungsi sebagai tempat rekreasi dan peningkatan <em>softskill <\/em>mahasiswa. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Peran perpustakaan kompleks, meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi dan menciptakan lulusan yang berkarakter juga tugas perpustakaan, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153 jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p>Edy menambahkan, keseimbangan otak kiri dan otak kanan sangat diperlukan dalam dunia kerja dan bermasyarakat. Jika dalam kelas mahasiswa di asah ketajaman otak kirinya, maka dengan pelatihan dan belajar komunikasi efektif mahasiswa akan diasah ketajaman otak kanannya. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Percuma nanti kalau cerdas, tapi tidak percaya diri dan kurang pandai bergaul serta berkomunikasi,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tegas Pria asal Nganjuk ini.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, ada bebarapa poin penting yang harus dipersiapkan sebelum melamar kerja. Pria ramah ini menyebutkan, minimal ada dua hal yang harus disiapkan seorang pelamar yakni wawasan mengenai tempat kerja baik itu secara umum maupun prakiraan upah perusahaan dengan menggunakan perbandingan perusahaan lain dan kejujuran dalam menulis <em>Curriculum Vitae <\/em>(CV).<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153CV akan menjadi bahan utama dalam wawancara, mengenal diri sendiri dan kejujuran dari CV sangatlah penting. Jangan sampai yang kita tulis di CV bukan gambaran diri kita sesungguhnya.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Ia melanjutkan,&nbsp; kepercayaan adalah modal awal untuk kesusksesan.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu pembicara, Rustini Hendra W S Psi mengatakan, untuk membuat CV yang menarik diperlukan pemahaman mengenai diri sendiri dan yang dapat memahami diri adalah diri itu sendiri. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Lakukan SWOT (<em>Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, <\/em>red) pada diri kita dan coba bandingkan dengan orang lain.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d jelasnya. Ia melanjutkan, Jika SWOT orang lain lebih banyak dari diri sendiri, maka dapat dikatakan kita kurang mengenal diri sendiri dan sebaliknya.
