Dalam sambutannya Hirota berharap konferensi ini akan membuka kesempatan bagi berbagai riset dan diskusi aktif guna meningkatkan kemampuan dalam teknoogi s<em>oft-computing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Acara pembukaan ini juga diisi dengan<em> keynote speech<\/em> oleh Prof Andrzej Bargiela dari University of Nottingham, Inggris. Dalam presentasinya, Bargiela menjelaskan mengenai Balancing Interpretability and Representativeness of Information Granules in Fuzzy Clustering.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>Acara yang dihadiri oleh peserta dari berbagai negara ini sendiri akan berlangsung selama empat hari. Hari pertama dan kedua akan dilangsungkan di Gedung Baru PENS yang diisi dengan <em>keynote speech<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Setelah paparan dari para <em>keynote speaker<\/em>, acara akan dilanjutkan dengan <em>paralel session<\/em> yang dibagi menjadi lima ruangan berbeda. Dalam ruangan ini akan diadakan berbagai diskusi dengan materi yang berbeda pula. <\/p>\n<p>Pada untuk hari ketiga dan keempat, peserta akan bertolak ke luar Surabaya untuk melangsungkan agenda berikutnya yaitu diskusi<span style=&quot;font-style: italic;&quot;>. R<\/span><em>ound table discussion<\/em> ini akan dihelat di Denpasar, Bali.
