Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2014 <\/b>Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> kian mempertegas komitmennya dalam mengakselerasi perkembangan industri dan teknologi nasional. Kali ini, ITS didapuk menjadi tuan rumah Pelatihan Semikonduktor bersama Arm untuk Talenta Indonesia yang digelar selama tiga hari mulai Selasa (20\/10) di Grha Sepuluh Nopember ITS.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pelatihan berskala nasional ini diselenggarakan melalui kolaborasi antara Arm Ltd, Danantara Indonesia, serta Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi, Sains, dan Teknologi (Kemdiktisaintek) RI. Pada perhelatan keduanya kali ini, sebanyak 1.200 peserta berhasil terjaring untuk menimba ilmu dari praktisi dan insinyur kelas dunia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Managing Director Technology Advancement Danantara Indonesia Dwi Susanto PhD menerangkan bahwa industri dalam negeri saat ini masih sangat bergantung pada cip impor. Mulai dari telepon seluler di genggaman hingga aneka perangkat elektronik harian, semuanya masih mengandalkan cip buatan luar negeri. \u201cUntuk mengurangi ketergantungan tersebut, kita perlu memproduksi cip secara mandiri,\u201d tegasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guna mewujudkan kemandirian tersebut, Dwi menekankan pentingnya penguatan ekosistem semikonduktor nasional. Dalam pengembangannya, rantai industri ini bertumpu pada tiga tahap utama, yakni desain, fabrikasi, serta <\/span>assembly, testing, and packaging<\/span><\/i> (ATP). Melalui pelatihan ini, Danantara Indonesia memusatkan perhatian pada peningkatan kompetensi di sektor desain cip. \u201cDanantara memulai dengan desain karena relatif lebih murah atau <\/span>less capital-intensive<\/span><\/i>,\u201d jelasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selaras dengan hal tersebut, Direktur Bina Talenta Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kemdiktisaintek RI Prof Dr rer pol Heri Kuswanto MSi menaruh harapan besar pada inisiatif ini. Ia memandang pelatihan tersebut sebagai tonggak penting yang berdampak nyata dalam beberapa tahun ke depan. \u201cLangkah ini krusial untuk mengantarkan Indonesia menjadi bangsa yang mandiri di sektor teknologi semikonduktor,\u201d paparnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Di samping itu, ia mengingatkan pentingnya komitmen penuh dari para peserta dalam mengikuti program yang didukung oleh Kementerian Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian RI tersebut. Heri menuturkan bahwa kesungguhan peserta menjadi kunci utama untuk mendorong kemajuan industri teknologi semikonduktor. Sinergi ini dipandang mampu menjadi tulang punggung terciptanya ekosistem semikonduktor yang kondusif dan komprehensif di Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sementara itu, Rektor ITS Prof Dr (HC) Ir Bambang Pramujati ST MScEng PhD mengapresiasi kolaborasi strategis lintas sektor yang telah terjalin. Ia menuturkan bahwa kedaulatan industri semikonduktor menuntut kemitraan erat antara pemerintah, perguruan tinggi, dan industri. Kolaborasi ini diyakini mampu menjadi katalis lahirnya talenta andal dan inovasi unggul.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Bambang menguraikan berbagai langkah konkret yang telah ditempuh ITS guna menyokong kemajuan teknologi semikonduktor nasional. Ia membeberkan, ITS telah mengalokasikan anggaran khusus untuk pengadaan peranti <\/span>Electronic Design Automation <\/span><\/i>(EDA) <\/span>tools<\/span><\/i>. \u201cApabila seluruh peranti pendukung telah rampung, kami siap berkontribusi aktif dalam mendukung pengembangan industri cip nasional,\u201d tegasnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dengan demikian, inisiatif kolaboratif ini semakin mengukuhkan komitmen ITS dalam mendukung pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Poin yang didukung meliputi poin ke-9 tentang Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur serta poin ke-19 tentang Kemitraan untuk Mencapai Tujuan.
