Tim dosen dan mahasiswa Departemen Teknik Elektro, Fakultas Teknologi Elektro dan Informatika Cerdas (FTEIC) ITS menghadirkan SUNTRACK-EDU, sistem <em>Smart Solar Lighting<\/em> berbasis <em>Internet of Things<\/em> (IoT) di Pesantren Al-Muqorrobun, Yayasan Mataraman, Madiun.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Program yang berlangsung pada 25\u201327 Agustus 2026 ini didanai oleh Direktorat Riset dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (DRPM) ITS. SUNTRACK-EDU memadukan panel fotovoltaik dengan baterai penyimpanan serta sistem kendali lampu otomatis berbasis IoT. Tak hanya menjadi infrastruktur penerangan, teknologi tersebut dirancang sebagai sarana pembelajaran energi terbarukan bagi para santri.<\/p>\n<p>Ketua Tim Pengabdi ITS Prof Dr Ir Adi Soeprijanto MT menjelaskan bahwa sistem yang dibangun diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat ganda bagi pesantren. Selain membantu menekan beban operasional listrik, SUNTRACK-EDU juga menjadi media edukasi teknologi yang aplikatif bagi santri dan pendidik. Seluruh perangkat <em>smart solar lighting<\/em> telah selesai dipasang di lokasi mitra. \u201cHarapan besar kami, kehadiran teknologi ini membawa manfaat nyata, baik untuk menekan beban operasional listrik maupun menjadi sarana edukasi teknologi bagi para santri,\u201d ujar Guru Besar Teknik Elektro ITS ini.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelum sistem dipasang, tim melakukan survei lapangan dan analisis kebutuhan untuk memastikan teknologi yang diterapkan sesuai dengan kondisi pesantren. Pengukuran menunjukkan potensi radiasi matahari rata-rata mencapai 5,54 kWh\/m\u00b2 per hari dengan <em>peak sun hours <\/em>selama 5,18 jam. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, tim kemudian menyiapkan sejumlah komponen, mulai dari panel fotovoltaik <em>monocrystalline<\/em>, baterai penyimpanan, <em>solar charge controller<\/em>, modul konverter arus, sensor intensitas cahaya BH1750, hingga mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32. Seluruh perangkat dirancang terintegrasi dengan dasbor <em>Smart Lighting<\/em> untuk memungkinkan pemantauan sistem secara nirkabel.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_111796\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-111796\" style=\"width: 825px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-111796\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/Suasana-ramah-tamah-dari-pihak-pesantren-saat.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"825\" height=\"549\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/Suasana-ramah-tamah-dari-pihak-pesantren-saat.jpg 825w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/Suasana-ramah-tamah-dari-pihak-pesantren-saat-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/09\/Suasana-ramah-tamah-dari-pihak-pesantren-saat-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 825px) 100vw, 825px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-111796\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Suasana ramah tamah dari pihak pesantren saat mengikuti pemaparan materi pengenalan energi terbarukan dan dasbor pemantauan IoT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tahap instalasi dilakukan dengan memasang struktur panel surya pada titik yang memiliki tangkapan optimal. Tim juga merancang boks kontrol berbahan akrilik transparan yang dilengkapi <em>test point<\/em> aman. \u201cDesain tersebut memungkinkan komponen sistem tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai perangkat operasional, tetapi juga dapat diamati dan dipelajari secara langsung oleh santri,\u201d papar Adi.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu keunggulan SUNTRACK-EDU, menurut Adi, terletak pada konsep <em>living lab<\/em> yang diusung. Sistem yang dibangun berupa satu unit Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) skala mikro tipe <em>off-grid<\/em> yang terintegrasi dengan <em>Smart Solar Lighting<\/em> berbasis IoT. Dengan dukungan ESP32 dan sensor BH1750, sistem mampu mengendalikan lampu secara otomatis sekaligus melakukan pemantauan kondisi secara <em>real-time<\/em> melalui <em>web dashboard<\/em>. Boks akrilik transparan yang digunakan juga memungkinkan santri melihat langsung perangkat dan mekanisme kerja sistem.<\/p>\n<p>Selain perangkat fisik, tim ITS turut menyerahkan buku pedoman operasional dan perawatan serta <em>Learning Module<\/em> interaktif. Materi tersebut digunakan dalam sesi sosialisasi yang membahas dasar energi baru dan terbarukan (EBT), prinsip konversi energi surya, pengoperasian kendali lampu berbasis IoT, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Implementasi SUNTRACK-EDU memberikan manfaat pada dua aspek sekaligus.<\/p>\n<p>Bagi pesantren, sistem penerangan dapat beroperasi secara mandiri (<em>off-grid<\/em>), sehingga tidak membebani meteran listrik PLN utama. Pihak pesantren berharap fasilitas tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan memberikan manfaat berkelanjutan, khususnya dalam mendukung pembelajaran sains dan teknologi serta kepedulian terhadap kelestarian alam.<\/p>\n<p>Salah seorang santri peserta pelatihan menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap fasilitas yang diberikan ITS. Ia berharap sistem tersebut dapat terus dimanfaatkan sebagai media pembelajaran bagi para santri untuk mengeksplorasi sains dan teknologi. Ke depan, keberadaan SUNTRACK-EDU diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana yang terus dimanfaatkan oleh Pesantren Al-Muqorrobun, baik untuk mendukung kebutuhan penerangan maupun sebagai laboratorium pembelajaran energi terbarukan dan IoT bagi generasi muda.<\/p>\n<p>Program SUNTRACK-EDU turut mendukung sejumlah <em>Sustainable Development Goals<\/em> (SDGs). Pemanfaatan energi surya sebagai sumber penerangan berkaitan langsung dengan SDG 7 (Energi Bersih dan Terjangkau), sementara kegiatan edukasi teknologi dan penyediaan modul pembelajaran mendukung SDG 4 (Pendidikan Berkualitas). Implementasi teknologi energi terbarukan di lingkungan pendidikan juga berkontribusi terhadap SDG 13 (Penanganan Perubahan Iklim) melalui penguatan pemanfaatan energi yang lebih bersih.
