ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0has once again achieved impressive success on the global stage. According to the latest release of the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2027, ITS officially ranks 497th among the best universities in the world. This jump in ranking from 509th place is the result of significant contributions from various assessment indicators, which have recorded positive improvements.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Sarah Cahyadini, Head of the Institutional Reputation Unit of the ITS Quality Assurance Office (KPM), explained that this achievement was driven by impressive performance across six indicators. ITS’s leap this year was driven by skyrocketing scores on internationalization indicators. “The overall ITS QS WUR score increased to 32.5 from the previous 31.9,” she explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the\u00a0<\/span>ITS Architecture Department<\/span><\/a>\u00a0lecturer highlighted that the\u00a0<\/span>International Student Ratio<\/span><\/em>\u00a0score was the highest in Indonesia. This impressive score of 18.2 also confirms ITS as the campus with the best international climate in Indonesia. “The numerous short course programs contributed significantly to this achievement,” Sarah said proudly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Going forward, Sarah explained that ITS’s strategy will focus on attracting more international students to study at ITS.\u00a0<\/span>The International Faculty Ratio<\/span><\/em>\u00a0also recorded its highest increase, reaching 84.2. This is the result of ITS’s extensive strategy of inviting adjunct professors. “These are lecturers from abroad who actively teach and collaborate on research on the ITS campus,” Sarah explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

In terms of academic reputation and the global research ecosystem, ITS is also increasingly showing its prowess. Positive sentiment from the global higher education community is reflected in its\u00a0<\/span>Academic Reputation<\/span><\/em>\u00a0score , which has climbed to 30.5 from 27.4. Publication quality is also slowly improving, as evidenced by its\u00a0<\/span>Citations per Faculty<\/span><\/em>\u00a0score , which has risen to 2.9 from 2.7.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only does ITS excel in academics and research, it also continues to demonstrate its commitment to being a green, sustainable campus. The\u00a0<\/span>Sustainability<\/span><\/em>\u00a0Indicator successfully achieved a score of 55.4. This improvement is inextricably linked to ITS’s numerous concrete efforts, which focus not only on improving the physical campus environment but also encompass economic and social sustainability aspects.<\/span><\/p>\n
