\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Kegiatan ini bisa menjadi wadah bagi siswa SMA agar mengetahui lebih jauh tentang budaya Jepang,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar Qorry Qurrotua A’yun, Ketua Panitia IFLS Contest Day. Shoudou<\/em> misalnya, adalah sebuah kompetisi seni menulis huruf kanji Jepang. Dijelaskn Qorry, panitia memberikan pilihan empat set kanji, masing-masing set terdiri dari tiga huruf. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Peserta hanya diharuskan menuliskan satu set kanji yang dipilih di atas sebuah kertas minyak,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d terang mahasiswa Sistem Informasi ini.<\/p>\n

Namun sebelumnya, kebanyakan peserta masih berlatih menggunakan media koran. Seperti yang dilakukan Hana Rizqiningtyas, peserta asal SMA 1 Mojoagung. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Agar hasilnya bagus dan menuliskannya tidak salah,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujarnya. Hana bersama belasan temannya yang lain mengaku berangkat jam 07.00 pagi dari Mojoagung hanya untuk mengikuti shoudou. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Buat nambah pengalaman,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d katanya.<\/p>\n

Kegiatan yang juga dilombakan adalah noryokushiken<\/em>. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Noryokushiken<\/em> merupakan tes tulis untuk menguji kompetensi Bahasa Jepang,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tutur Qorry. Tak kurang dari tiga puluh peserta berpartisipasi dalam lomba kedua ini.<\/p>\n

Perlombaan yang terakhir digelar adalah cosplay. Para peserta menampilkan karakter dari tokoh-tokoh komik, manga, sampai tokoh game baik dari segi kostum, atribut, sampai dandanan. Bella Ursia misalnya, bersama satu temannya ia berpakaian ala Black Rock Shooter. Tak hanya tokoh seperti Kaiko, Miku, dan Luka, bahkan tokoh Shirigami atau dewa kematian dalam anime Bleach pun juga turut serta dalam cosplay tersebut.<\/p>\n

Qorry mengatakan jika IFLS Contest Day sudah menjadi agenda tahunan mereka. Hanya saja berbeda dengan tahun lalu yang hanya melombakan Bahasa Jepang, tahun ini juga diadakan lomba Bahasa Inggris. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Rencananya, perlombaan Bahasa Inggris akan digelar pada 25 Maret mendatang,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d ujar mahasiswa Sistem Informasi angkatan 2009 tersebut.
