ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0The 133rd Graduation Ceremony\u00a0<\/span>of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0was also marked by a spirit of sharing through the 66k Donation Movement for the ITS Endowment Fund. The event, held at the ITS Graduation Building, successfully collected Rp 103,884,797 in donations over two days, as of Sunday (April 19).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

On the first day, Saturday (April 18), donations reached Rp 38,571,980 from 324 donors, including graduates, their parents, and invited guests. The first-day contributions came from the academic community of the Faculty of Ocean Engineering (FTK), the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD), the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical Engineering and Informatics (FTEIC), and the Faculty of Vocational Studies (FV) at ITS.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, on the second day, Sunday (19\/4), the graduation ceremony was divided into two sessions. The first session involving the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering (FTI-RS), the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geoplanning (FTSPK), the Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business (FDKBD), and the Faculty of Medicine and Health (FKK) ITS managed to collect donations of Rp 41,066,355 from 337 donors. Meanwhile, in the second session attended by the Interdisciplinary School of Management and Technology (SIMT) including the Postgraduate and Professional Engineering Programs (PPI), donations of Rp 65,312,817 were collected from 517 donors.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Eng Kriyo Sambodho, ST, MEng, Director of the ITS Endowment Fund Management Institute (LPDA), stated that participant enthusiasm remained high through the second day of the event. Thousands of donation transactions were recorded through various digital channels provided at the graduation area. “Hopefully, more parties can benefit from the development of the ITS Endowment Fund, not only for scholarships but also for institutional research and development,” he said hopefully.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecturer, often known as Dhodot, explained that the 66k Donation Movement is part of the ITS LPDA’s strategy to build a culture of philanthropy on campus, while also celebrating ITS’s 66th anniversary. This initiative strengthens the community’s role in supporting the sustainability of higher education institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the ITS Ocean Engineering lecturer, the ITS Endowment Fund itself is a long-term investment fund collected from contributions from alumni, partners, and the general public. “The principal is kept intact, while the proceeds are used to support scholarships, research, and community service,” he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

This activity aligns with ITS’s commitment to supporting\u00a0<\/span>the Sustainable Development Goals<\/span><\/em>\u00a0(SDGs). Specifically, SDG 1 (No Poverty) by facilitating access to education for students with economic difficulties, SDG 4 (Quality Education) through providing access to scholarships, SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through research and development support, and SDG 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals) through collaboration between campuses, alumni, and the community in strengthening the Endowment Fund.\u00a0<\/span>(ITS Public Relations)
