Dr Yustina Suhandini Tjahjaningsih ST MT memaparkan hasil penelitiannya terkait Surface Defect Detection (SDD) di Departemen Teknik Sistem dan Industri ITS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kampus ITS, ITS News \u2014<\/strong> Inovasi di bidang manufaktur kembali dihasilkan oleh lulusan program doktor Departemen Teknik Sistem dan Industri Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> melalui pengembangan Surface Defect Detection<\/em> (SDD) berbasis akal imitasi (AI). Melalui penelitian untuk disertasinya, Yustina Suhandini Tjahjaningsih ST MT mengintegrasikan teknologi kecerdasan buatan dengan peran manusia dalam sistem pengendalian kualitas guna meningkatkan keandalan proses produksi.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Perempuan yang akrab disapa Dini ini menjelaskan bahwa sistem pengendalian kualitas di industri manufaktur masih banyak mengandalkan inspeksi manual. Kondisi tersebut berpotensi menimbulkan keterlambatan deteksi cacat serta inkonsistensi hasil pemeriksaan. Oleh karena itu, inovasi yang dikembangkan dirancang untuk menghadirkan proses inspeksi yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan adaptif. \u201cSistem ini memungkinkan identifikasi cacat produk secara lebih dini dan konsisten,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Dini mengembangkan aplikasi SDD sebagai luaran utama penelitiannya. Sistem ini memanfaatkan teknologi AI untuk mendeteksi cacat produk secara otomatis dan real-time, sehingga mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses inspeksi sekaligus mengurangi ketergantungan pada pengamatan manual. Selain itu, SDD juga dirancang untuk memberikan dukungan pengambilan keputusan bagi operator dalam menentukan tindakan perbaikan yang tepat.<\/p>\n

Tak hanya berfokus pada proses deteksi, penelitian ini juga mengadopsi kerangka Zero Defect Manufacturing<\/em> (ZDM) yang mencakup empat strategi utama, yakni detection, prediction, repair, dan prevention. Keempat strategi tersebut saling terintegrasi untuk memastikan kualitas produk sejak tahap awal proses produksi hingga evaluasi berkelanjutan. \u201cPendekatan ini tidak hanya menemukan cacat produk, tetapi juga memprediksi dan mencegah kemunculannya di masa mendatang,\u201d imbuhnya.<\/p>\n

Selain integrasi teknologi, Dini menerapkan pendekatan human-centric yang menempatkan manusia sebagai bagian integral dalam sistem, terutama dalam proses interpretasi hasil analisis dan pengambilan keputusan. Dengan demikian, kolaborasi antara manusia dan teknologi dapat tercipta secara harmonis serta meningkatkan penerimaan sistem di lingkungan industri. \u201cKeterlibatan manusia memastikan teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dan berkelanjutan,\u201d paparnya.<\/p>\n

Melalui inovasi tersebut, menurut Dini, SDD berpotensi diimplementasikan pada berbagai sektor industri manufaktur yang menuntut standar kualitas tinggi. Penerapan sistem ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, menekan biaya akibat produk cacat, serta memperkuat daya saing industri nasional. Selain itu, pendekatan yang diusung juga sejalan dengan transformasi menuju Industri 5.0 yang menekankan sinergi antara manusia dan teknologi.<\/p>\n

Melalui penelitian ini, perempuan kelahiran Surabaya itu berharap inovasi yang dikembangkan dapat diimplementasikan secara luas di dunia industri guna menciptakan sistem produksi yang lebih andal dan berkelanjutan. \u201cHarapannya, inovasi ini dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan daya saing industri manufaktur,\u201d tandasnya optimistis.<\/p>\n

Inovasi tersebut menjadi bukti komitmen ITS dalam mendorong pengembangan solusi berbasis riset dan teknologi. Hal ini sejalan dengan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya poin ke-9 tentang Industri, Inovasi, dan Infrastruktur serta poin ke-12 mengenai Konsumsi dan Produksi yang Bertanggung Jawab.
