Program yang diikuti mahasiswa lintas benua tersebut bertujuan memperkenalkan keunggulan inovasi dan kekayaan budaya Indonesia ke kancah internasional.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ketua Direktur Promosi dan Mobilitas Internasional ITS Octaviyanti Dwi Wahyurini ST MAppDesArt PhD menyebut bahwa Commtech 2026 berfokus pada topik terkait pengembangan inovasi teknologi terbaru dalam menjawab tantangan global. Berlangsung selama dua minggu sejak Kamis (22\/01), program yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa dari tujuh negara di kawasan Asia hingga Eropa Timur ini mengajak peserta mengenal inovasi teknologi dari berbagai laboratorium ITS lintas bidang. <\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_106457\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-106457\" style=\"width: 462px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-106457\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/01\/IMG_2701-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Gambar Octaviyanti Dwi saat menerima pemberian cinderamata dari perwakilan UNIMY\" width=\"462\" height=\"308\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-106457\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Octaviyanti Dwi Wahyurini ST MAppDesArt PhD (kanan) saat menerima pemberian cinderamata oleh perwakilan dari University Malaysia of Computer Science &amp; Engineering (UNIMY)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selain berfokus pada hasil penelitian dan akademik, dosen yang kerap disapa Oyn ini menambahkan bahwa program ini juga mengajak peserta mancanegara untuk mengenal kebudayaan dan kearifan lokal Indonesia. Peserta pun diajak terjun langsung melalui program pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk lebih mengenal kondisi nyata di lapangan. \u201cRangkaian ini menjadi upaya memperkenalkan tradisi Indonesia kepada\u00a0 mahasiswa asing,\u201d jelas Dosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/dkv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Departemen Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV) ITS<\/a> itu.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Tidak hanya itu, program yang rutin digelar sejak 2012 tersebut juga diisi dengan kegiatan pengayaan budaya agar peserta dari berbagai negara dapat mengenal tradisi dan kebudayaan masing-masing negara. Melalui rangkaian kegiatan kebudayaan ini, harapannya dapat memperluas cakrawala peserta terkait budaya global. \u201cKami juga berharap ajang ini dapat menjadi wadah membangun pertemanan, membangun jaringan, dan berbagi budaya,\u201d ungkap Oyn.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_106458\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-106458\" style=\"width: 464px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-106458\" src=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/01\/IMG_2804-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Gambar Keseruan peserta CommTech 2026 saat melakukan kegiatan menari bersama\" width=\"464\" height=\"309\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-106458\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Keseruan peserta CommTech 2026 saat melakukan kegiatan menari bersama<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Oyn menegaskan bahwa kehadiran 40 peserta dari Filipina, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Rusia, Thailand, dan Vietnam mempertegas komitmen ITS dalam berkontribusi di kancah global. Program ini menjadi wadah strategis bagi ITS untuk memperluas jejaring global sekaligus memperkenalkan potensi akademik, riset, dan budaya Indonesia kepada dunia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Penyelenggaraan Commtech 2026 mendukung upaya ITS dalam mewujudkan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya poin 4 terkait Pendidikan Berkualitas melalui wadah pertukaran ilmu pengetahuan lintas negara.
