Acara ini bertema meningkatkan kreativitas pelajar untuk mengembangkan teknologi dalam bidang robot melalui pelatihan robot <em>line tracer<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Saat ini dunia robot mulai merambah ke dunia sekolah, namun masih ada daerah-daerah kurang mengetahui tentang robot,&quot; ungkap Indra. Mahasiswa angkatan 2009 ini menambahkan bahwa peserta akan bisa langsung mempraktekkan membuat robot jenis <em>line tracer<\/em> setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini. Di akhir acara, diadakan adu robot <em>line tracer<\/em> bagi peserta WFR<\/p>\n<p>&quot;WFR bisa dilaksanakan si daerah-daerah diluar Surabaya dengan harapan lebih banyak pelajar yang mengetahui tentang teknologi robot,&quot; harap Indra. saat ini kendala yang dihadapi adalah terbatasnya jumlah <em>trainer<\/em> yang hanya puluhan orang.<\/p>\n<p>Dalam waktu dua hari, peserta digembleng dengan materi dan pembuatan robot dengan didampingi oleh <em>trainer<\/em>. &quot;Materi yang diberikan adalah pengenalan robot, pengenalan komponen elektrik, mekanik, dan teknik penyolderan,&quot; jelas salah satu trainer, Farid Ridha Muttaqin. Alasan dipilihnya jenis robot <em>line tracer<\/em> analog karena robot dasar dan paling mudah dimengerti, dari jenis robot <em>line tracer<\/em> bisa dikemabangkan lagi ke jenis yang lebih canggih.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Acaranya mengasyikan dan memberi pengetahun baru tentang robot meskipun saat membuat mekaniknya susah,&quot; komentar Shafira Ifmy, salah satubpeserta WFR yang berasal dari Jember ini.
