Kali ini, dosen ITS merumuskan naskah kebijakan bertajuk <em>Designing a Multiscale Support System for Digital Education to Improve Higher Education Access for People with Disabilities<\/em> sebagai dasar penyusunan kebijakan pendidikan inklusif di ITS.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ketua tim peneliti dari ITS Siti Nurlaela ST MCom PhD mengungkapkan bahwa akses pendidikan tinggi bagi kelompok disabilitas masih terbatas, khususnya di bidang sains dan teknologi. Tahap pertama adalah student input yang menyoroti penerimaan mahasiswa melalui sistem admisi yang inklusif. Tahap kedua yakni student process yang berfokus pada pembelajaran yang adaptif dan aksesibel, dan terakhir adalah student output yang menyiapkan mahasiswa menuju kemandirian akademik dan karir profesional.<\/p>\n<p>Melalui penelitian ini, Siti dan timnya melakukan kajian internal dengan mengambil sampel dari beberapa program studi (prodi) untuk menilai kesesuaian kurikulum terhadap kebutuhan mahasiswa disabilitas. Analisis dilakukan melalui pemetaan capaian pembelajaran lulusan (CPL) guna mengetahui tingkat kesiapan tiap prodi. \u201cLangkah ini membantu memahami sejauh mana kurikulum di ITS sudah mendukung prinsip inklusivitas,\u201d jelas Siti.<\/p>\n<p>Penelitian ini juga diperkuat dengan studi penerapan pendidikan inklusif di University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol, Inggris. Siti menuturkan, kolaborasi dengan UWE bertujuan untuk mempelajari penerapan kebijakan dan sistem digital yang mendukung layanan pendidikan bagi berbagai jenis disabilitas. Salah satu di antaranya adalah pembentukan dan penguatan Unit Layanan Disabilitas (ULD) sebagai pusat koordinasi layanan dan pendampingan akademik bagi mahasiswa disabilitas. \u201cLembaga ini yang akan memastikan pelaksanaan pendidikan yang inklusif di ITS,\u201d ucap perempuan yang akrab disapa Oka ini.<\/p>\n<p>Lebih lanjut, Oka menjelaskan bahwa penelitian dan penyusunan naskah kebijakan ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara ITS dan UWE Bristol dengan dukungan British Council melalui program Disability Inclusion Partnership Grant. Kegiatan ini juga melibatkan peneliti dari Universitas Trisakti dan Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) untuk memperkuat perspektif nasional dalam pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Kajian ini menegaskan kontribusi ITS terhadap pencapaian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.its.ac.id\/sdg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/a> poin ke-4 tentang Pendidikan Berkualitas dan poin ke-10 tentang Pengurangan Kesenjangan.
