ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0once again achieved impressive results at the 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) Awards held at the Indonesian Education University (UPI) in Bandung on Sunday (October 26th). ITS won three awards at the event, demonstrating the consistency and quality of its students in research.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Head of the ITS 2025 PKM Task Force, Ir. I Putu Eka Widya Pratama, SSi, MSc, RWTH, revealed that ITS ranked third in the Higher Education (PT) category for receiving the most incentives in cluster 1, with 44 groups. Furthermore, the man often called Eka also stated that ITS ranked second in the PT category with the largest number of incentive scheme awards, with 13 teams.<\/p>\n

In the student sphere, Eka explained that ITS also successfully won the PKM award with an Informative output through the work of the PKM Video Ide Konstruktif (VGK) team. The team was led by Aldi Prastyo Nugroho with accompanying lecturer from\u00a0<\/span>the ITS Environmental Engineering Department<\/span><\/a>\u00a0Alfan Purnomo ST MT. The video discussed the need for sports awareness amidst the decline in the active lifestyle of modern society which was packaged creatively and informatively, thus attracting the attention of the jury.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecturer\u00a0<\/span>from the ITS Instrumentation Engineering Department<\/span><\/a>\u00a0expressed pride in the team’s achievements, despite the challenges they faced, including the students’ busy schedules with academic assignments and organizational activities. He further explained that his team continues to provide support through regular discussions with reasoning lecturers and has received full support from the Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs, the Directorate of Student Affairs (Ditmawa), and the ITS PKM Escort Team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Daniar Fahmi, ST, MT, Head of the Talent Development Section of ITS Student Affairs and Student Affairs, explained that ITS plays a strategic role in encouraging students to compete in national competitions. This support is realized through motivation, appreciation through on-campus awards, and intensive coaching for students and supervisors who pass the proposal selection. “ITS provides an open discussion forum through the Student Study Program (PSM) to support the development of ideas and the preparation of PKM proposals,” he explained.<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecturer\u00a0<\/span>from the ITS Department of Electrical Engineering<\/span><\/a>\u00a0also hopes that this achievement will further inspire the entire ITS academic community to continue working and innovating by strengthening a culture of research and creative innovation. This is also done in an effort to achieve\u00a0<\/span>Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0point 4, namely Quality Education. “Hopefully, this achievement motivates students and all ITS departments to continue working for the advancement of the institution and the Indonesian nation,” he said optimistically.\u00a0<\/span>(ITS PUBLIC RELATIONS)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
