ITS Campus, ITS News \u2014\u00a0<\/span><\/b>The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS)<\/span><\/a>\u00a0held its 132nd Graduation Ceremony on September 20-21, 2025, and September 27-28, 2025, at the ITS Graduation Hall. During this graduation period, ITS officially inaugurated 4,948 graduates from the Bachelor’s, Applied Bachelor’s, Professional, Master’s, Applied Master’s, and Doctoral levels.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In his remarks, ITS Rector Prof. Dr. (HC) Ir. Bambang Pramujati, ST, MScEng, PhD, expressed his gratitude for the successful graduation ceremony. “I am grateful and proud to graduate all of you who, God willing, have the characteristics of Intelligent, Trustworthy, and Creative (CAK),” said the 13th ITS Rector before the graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of the total 4,948 graduates, 1,604, or 32 percent, earned\u00a0<\/span>Cum Laude<\/span><\/em>\u00a0honors . Of these, 826 (17 percent) received the Indonesia Smart Card-College Scholarship (KIP-K) or Bidikmisi, with 322 (39 percent) earning\u00a0<\/span>Cum Laude<\/span><\/em>\u00a0honors . ITS also graduated 11 international graduates from Timor Leste, Belgium, India, Cambodia, Yemen, and Rwanda.<\/span><\/p>\n

Specifically, the inaugural graduation ceremony on Saturday (September 20th) featured graduates from the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD) from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and graduates from the Faculty of Intelligent Electrical and Informatics Technology (FTEIC). On Sunday (September 21st), the graduation ceremony also included graduates from two other faculties: the Faculty of Science and Data Analytics (FSAD) from the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Actuarial Science. Graduates from all departments within the Faculty of Civil, Planning, and Geoengineering (FTSPK) also participated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The second week of graduation, Saturday (September 27th), was also divided into two sessions. The first session was attended by the Faculty of Creative Design and Digital Business (FDKBD) and the Faculty of Vocational Studies, and the second session was attended by graduates from all departments of the Postgraduate Program. On Sunday (September 28th), the first session featured graduates from the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Systems Engineering (FTIRS) and the Faculty of Marine Technology (FTK). The second session was dedicated to the inauguration of graduates from the ITS Professional Engineering Program (PSPPI).<\/span><\/p>\n

The 132nd graduation ceremony also featured several inspiring stories. Wiwik Dahani from the Chemistry Doctoral Program was the oldest graduate at 63 years and 4 months, while the youngest graduates were Davina Panorama Viradhika from the Industrial Engineering Bachelor’s Program and Wan Sabrina Mayzura from the Informatics Engineering Bachelor’s Program at the same age of 20 years and 4 months.<\/span><\/p>\n

A number of graduates also received the best graduate award. For the Bachelor’s (S1) degree, Alexander Weynard Samsico from the Department of Informatics Engineering achieved a GPA of 3.96. For the Applied Bachelor’s (D4) degree, Jasmine Angelia Suriawan from the Department of Business Statistics achieved a GPA of 3.89. The best graduate for the Applied Master’s (S2 Terapan) program was Umi Arifatus Shoifah from the Applied Master’s Program in Civil Engineering Maintenance and Restoration with a GPA of 3.83.<\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, 13 Master’s graduates graduated with a perfect GPA of 4.00, and 30 Doctoral graduates also achieved perfect GPAs. Eight graduates from the Professional Engineering Program (PPI) achieved perfect GPAs. Meanwhile, the top Bidikmisi Scholarship recipient was Mohamad Hilmi from the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering with a GPA of 3.90.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the 132nd Graduation Ceremony, the ITS Rector also symbolically presented competency certificates from the ITS Professional Certification Institute (LSP) to the graduates. Regarding competitiveness, Bambang explained that ITS consistently strives to ensure its graduates possess not only knowledge but also skills relevant to industry needs. Therefore, since 2017, ITS has established the LSP P1 as a platform for students to validate their competencies.<\/span><\/p>\n

By 2025, LSP P1 ITS had demonstrated its crucial role. This was because LSP P1 ITS was able to provide 14 certification schemes aligned with industry demands. Furthermore, LSP P1 ITS was supported by 72 active, professional and trusted assessors and had successfully issued over 100 competency certificates, proving graduates’ career readiness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bambang emphasized that this competency certificate is more than just a piece of paper. It’s tangible proof that ITS graduates possess not only theoretical knowledge but also nationally recognized practical skills. “This is your passport to enter the workforce with your head held high and full of confidence,” he reminded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Concluding his remarks, Bambang expressed his hope that ITS graduates would be able to bring honor to their alma mater and put the knowledge they have acquired into practice. “Hopefully, the knowledge gained at ITS will be a valuable resource for their future endeavors for the nation and humanity,” the ITS Professor of Mechanical Engineering concluded hopefully.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 132nd ITS Graduation Ceremony also demonstrates ITS’s contribution to\u00a0<\/span>the Sustainable Development Goals<\/span><\/em>\u00a0(SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education) through the provision of quality and inclusive higher education; SDG 5 (Gender Equality) through equal opportunities to achieve for all; and SDG 10 (Reducing Inequality) through the KIP-K or Bidikmisi scholarships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Graduates are also prepared to support SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) with relevant competencies in the workplace, while strengthening SDG 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals) through the presence of international graduates who reflect ITS’s global network.\u00a0<\/span>(ITS Public Relations)
