Kampus ITS, ITS News<\/b> \u2014Memenuhi kebutuhan penyelia halal berkualitas, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS)<\/a> melalui Tekno Sains Academy<\/a> menggelar Pelatihan Penyelia Halal Batch 17 di Gedung Research Center ITS. Kegiatan yang dimonitor langsung oleh Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) Republik Indonesia ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari sejak Selasa (12\/8).<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Kepala Pusat Kajian Halal ITS Prof Setiyo Gunawan ST PhD IPM menjelaskan, pelatihan ini ditujukan untuk memberikan pembekalan, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan komprehensif peserta untuk memastikan produk berstatus halal sejak proses\u00a0 produksi hingga distribusi. \u201cTak hanya itu, kegiatan ini juga menjadi bagian dari Gerakan 1000 Penyelia Halal yang diinisiasi ITS,\u201d terangnya. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dosen yang akrab disapa Gunawan ini melanjutkan, dalam gelaran ini peserta tidak hanya dilatih agar familiar dalam proses audit tetapi juga untuk memastikan kehalalan produk secara berkelanjutan. Hal ini diwujudkan dengan pelatihan mengenai regulasi dan ruang lingkup Jaminan Produk Halal (JPH), konsep halal-haram, hingga penerapan Sistem Jaminan Produk Halal (SJPH).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Selain itu, sebanyak 20 peserta dalam pelatihan ini juga berkesempatan untuk mengawasi bahan serta proses produksi, menyusun dokumen pendukung, melakukan audit internal, dan mempraktikkan langsung proses pengajuan sertifikat halal melalui<\/span> platform<\/span><\/i> SIHALAL. \u201cKami harap, setelah pelatihan ini para penyelia halal ITS dapat dapat mendorong para pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) mengurus sertifikat halal secara mandiri,\u201d tuturnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Terkait hal ini, Kepala Subdirektorat Bina Ekosistem Halal BPJPH RI Zaenuddin SAg dalam kunjungannya, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini memiliki urgensi strategis. Terlebih, kewajiban kepemilikan sertifikat halal akan berlaku penuh bagi seluruh produk di Indonesia pada 2026. \u201cPenyelia halal harus memahami tugasnya secara menyeluruh agar dapat menjaga kehalalan produk,\u201d tegas Zaenuddin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lebih lanjut, Zaenuddin mengungkapkan apresiasi penuhnya terhadap kegiatan ini. Menurutnya, pelatihan yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa ITS ini mendukung penuh beberapa poin Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Di antaranya pada poin ke-8 dan 9 mengenai pekerjaan layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi serta industri, inovasi, dan infrastruktur. \u201cSinergi ini kami harap dapat memperkuat posisi industri halal sebagai sektor strategis nasional,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/span><\/p>\n

Menanggapi hal tersebut, Gunawan menegaskan bahwa ITS akan terus berkolaborasi dan berkomitmen menjadi <\/span>center of excellence<\/span><\/i> dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) serta ekosistem halal. Lewat pelatihan ini, pemahaman regulasi diharapkan dapat diterapkan peserta secara langsung di lapangan. \u201cMelalui hasil riset, pelatihan, dan inovasi teknologi, kami ingin peserta mampu mengaplikasikannya di masyarakat,\u201d pungkasnya. <\/span>(*)<\/b><\/p>\n
