https://www.its.ac.id/news/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/4469.jpeg150112Sudah saatnya mahasiswa lebih mengenal kancah berpolitik. Terlebih lagi pillkada Gubernur Jawa Timur serta pilpres pun telah diujung mata. Oleh karenanya, Departemen Sosial Politik BEM ITS gelar Sekolah Pelopor Mahasiswa ITS (SPMI). Sekolah buatan para aktivis BEM ini berhasil menyedot 60 siswa yang mayoritas mahsiswa ITS angkatan 2005. Tak tanggung-tanggung, KPK juga diundang untuk memberikan materi.
