https://www.its.ac.id/news/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/4501.jpeg150112Dikukuhkannya Fakultas Teknologi Kelautan (FTK) ITS tidaklah dengan proses semudah yang kita bayangkan. Tidak hanya kesulitan dalam mendapatkan izin kepada Konsorsium Teknologi dan Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi kala itu, perjuangan pun harus dilakukan dengan mondar-mandir Surabaya-Jakarta. Setidaknya hampir satu tahun waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk memperjuangkan terbentuknya FTK. Prof Ir Soegiono merupakan salah satu pejuang itu.
