https://www.its.ac.id/news/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2017/11/10178.jpeg220165Meski sudah tiga minggu terbentuk, Mahasiswa Tanggap Bencana (Mahagana) ITS belum pernah terjun langsung ke lokasi bencana. Karena pada prinsipnya, seorang relawan harus memiliki keahlian khusus dalam penanganan bencana. Sebagai pembekalan, Kementerian Sosial Kemasyarakatan (Sosmas) Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) ITS pun memberikan pelatihan kepada anggota baru Mahagana ITS.
