Untuk lebih memotivasi siswanya, SMA ini mengajak siswa kelas XI-nya mengunjungi ITS. Hal tersebut diakui agar para siswa lebih terobsesi dan punya mimpi untuk dapat masuk ke perguruan tinggi seperti ITS. Di gedung Rektorat kunjungan ini diterima oleh perwakilan ITS, Pembantu Dekan (PD) IV FTI Dr Ir Budi Santosa MSc.
