Peluncuran langsung dilakukan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) RI Prof Dr Ir Muhammad Nuh DEA bersama Direktur Utama Telkom Dr Ir Arief Yahya MSc dan Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Tri Yogi Yuwono DEA.
