Bersama dengan Kumamoto University Jepang, ITS telah menggagas Project for Research and Education Development on Information and Communication Technology (PREDICT). Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kapabilitas ITS dalam mendukung industri, perguruan tinggi, dan institusi pemerintah di Indonesia timur khususnya dalam bidang ICT.
