Melalui salah satu sub acaranya, National Maritime Paper-Essay Competition (NMPEC), lebih dari sepuluh kampus di Indonesia terlibat. Pada ajang Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah (LKTI) ini misalnya, tercatat ada 105 tim dari belasan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia beradu ide dan inovasi.
